Just wanna say thanks Colonel for all customs you’ve done ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
May 17, 2014 at 9:46 pm #420514Glad to see 1985 get Full Band! Thanks guys on the collaboration on this one. Fingers crossed for Tired and Getting Away With Murder being the next ones to get Full Band. You’re welcome and you might check with Funky, Canuck or Troipoison to see if they’re interested in (and have the time for) charting drums for those others. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

It’s actually quite enjoyable charting them, too!

Velvet Revolver and Disturbed Full-Band collaborative customs!
This week’s full-band customs were driven by Troipoison who contacted me about a new collaboration while we were putting the finishing touches on our first collaboration, “Fly From the Inside”. This time he had found Puppetz’s guitar chart for Velvet Revolver’s “Fall to Pieces” and imported it into Canuck’s drums-only customs of the same name. He modded the chart and asked if I’d be interested in charting the vocals. Since I wanted to chart this song anyway, I also offered to chart the bass. After a couple of weeks of bouncing between Canuck, Troi and myself, we proudly present this week’s first Full-Band Collaboration, Velvet Revolver’s “Fall to Pieces”:
Velvet Revolver – “Fall to Pieces” * TM/D by Canuck, original G by Puppetz, G mods/import by Troipoison, V/B by Colonel
While working on the above custom, Troipoison contacted me with another great custom, this one TM’ed and drum-charted by HomerRulez. Troipoison imported and modded G/B charts originally created by SUSA ltd then sent it to me for vocals, which were a pleasure to add. So here we present this week’s second Full-Band collaboration, Disturbed’s Genesis cover of “Land of Confusion”:
Disturbed – “Land of Confusion” * TM/D by HomerRulez, original G/B by SUSA ltd, G/B mods/import by Troipoison, V by Colonel

It was great working with Troipoison and Canuck! Both these poor saps were trying to enjoy a long Canadian holiday weekend while Colonel USA here kept pestering and bothering them. Big thanks to both these guys for making it happen!
May 20, 2014 at 3:25 am #420663indeed is great to see non C3 authors get together and collaborate into making full band customs.
Hope to see some of the previous releases fm here and Canuck’s thread get the full band treatment.
Saludos!

May 20, 2014 at 3:36 pm #420692Very awesome, will download and play those two songs a lot!
May 20, 2014 at 3:54 pm #420694Sweet, thanks for these! Out of curiosity, are there any plans to chart keys/harmonies (if applicable) on these customs where everyone is teaming up to make them full band?
May 20, 2014 at 9:32 pm #420710Sweet, thanks for these! Out of curiosity, are there any plans to chart keys/harmonies (if applicable) on these customs where everyone is teaming up to make them full band?Doubtful. On these two specifically, there were no keys (that I’m aware of) and the harmonies were negligible.
May 20, 2014 at 9:40 pm #420711Awesome! Can’t wait to play “Fall to Pieces” tonight, when I first heard that album, that song stuck out in particular quite a bit to me. And I’m sure “Land of Confusion” will be fun as well. Keep up the great work guys!

On these two specifically, there were no keys (that I’m aware of) and the harmonies were negligible.Okay just thought I would ask so I know if there are any future songs that have awesome harmonies/keys if those are on the table or not. Thanks again for all you guys do!

I would like to say that working with Canuck and Colonel was very easy and enjoyable. And Colonel even made sense out of the drunken PMs I left over the long weekend ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
