Any chance for “Hair of the Dog” since all we ever got was an awful re-record?

Bass is really fun, guitar’s accoustic rhythm can be tricky, vocals are pretty easy – and how could you not love Kelli Ali’s voice? Fun, haunting melody from 1996. Needs drums!

The J. Geils Band – “One Last Kiss” (VGB, emhx)

The old-timers around here might have some good memories associated with this song. I was 11 when this album came out in 1978. Nearly every station you tuned into was playing disco, but The J Geils Band stayed true to their bluesy-rock sound and just kept pumping out great songs.

Haven’t heard a lot of J. Geils outside of their hits, but I’ll have to give this one a shot. You definitely have quite a varied library. If I counted right, 32 tracks by 24 artists. Great job Colonel.

I have to say, though, I have been busy with several projects for the past six weeks and haven’t added anything new to “my library” for that period. I still have a few songs to share, but most need attention before I can share them, which is part of what I’m trying to accomplish. I think this is a common thing right now, the output of many authors is down including me, still plugging away but warm weather means lawns grow, golf season is upon us & girls are wearing Daisy Dukes

Weather definitely affects output. Much of what I’ve done over the last month or so has a lot to do with the fact that it’s been barely above freezing and/or windy and/or raining for most of the time. Everyone else is ready for summer, here in MN, we haven’t really even had spring yet.

I really glad you like them! Try some of the bass if you haven’t – I always thought bass was kind of boring until I started charting it. Thanks for trying them out!
