I’ve wanted to make instrumentals myself, exploring all sorts of genres. I have all the instruments most generic rock bands use but the only one I can play worth a damn is keys. Unless it’s garage rock. Then I can play anything.
One of these days I’ll have money and I want to start recording and messing around with production and mixing but that’s a long way off for me.

Haha well out of everything I rambled about in my post, I had forgot to mention specifically that I don’t even use any real instruments anyway. All I use is FL Studio and a MIDI keyboard, and my MIDI keyboard is actually new. Most of everything I’ve made, I hadn’t even used a keyboard for anyway haha. But anyway if you get any DAWs like FL Studio, and you know how to use them, in some sort of way we could collaborate. I’d even collaborate with anyone who uses real instruments too, of course, I personally just wouldn’t use any myself haha.

I’ve messed around with FL Studio a bit. It’s got quite a learning curve and sadly time is a rare commodity for me right now. Maybe during the summer break I can learn more.

I’m not very talented what so ever but I could probably do some drum parts for songs if sent my way… not that it’ll sound anything impressive but would be fun regardless!

FL Studio is very simple to use, you’ll figure it out quite quickly. But I hear ya on time, I don’t always have the opportunity to do anything free-time-wise, haha.

TO EVERYONE: Because my free time is so shit, I’ll message everyone interested separately probably around the spring break time (I don’t know if it’s the same for everybody), so just be patient if you’re waiting! I’m very busy due to college and other personal activities, including playing Rock Band like everyone else here does
