How does one go about adding the marker for Big Rock Ending’s with pro keys? The documentation simply says

“The BRE lanes are 120 C8-124 E8. For Pro Keys, use only 120 C8 in PART REAL_KEYS_X”

Which my little brain only processes into mush. help?

Note: im not using the C3 template(s) for REAPER so if its really obvious on there, i wouldnt know. lol

I believe the one that gets distributed from Harmonix. i think i got them when i got reaper and magma and stuff.

What are you talking about, theres no such thing…Not that i see at least.

Keys, Bass, and Guitar have BRE sections at the top…but as you can see from the picture, theres no indication of the BRE.

It is 120 though. That’s something you have to add on to your local note names file just like how Tremolo has to be added to the Guitar/Bass parts.

To add on to what various people have said. Just because something is labelled in Reaper doesn’t mean that Rock Band will read it the same.

I could rename a random note to anything in Reaper, but that won’t change what Rock Band reads.

Rock Band doesn’t read “BRE Note” like what Reaper says, it just reads that it’s note 120, and that corresponds to “Make this a BRE when you get to this note” when it gets read by Rock Band’s MIDI parser.
