December 6, 2019 at 4:00 am #508139============================Day (seven)Eleven Slot 3: SingleAudio Source: 1994 CDAnother single missing from this great album, though I have not many feelings for this one, it’s nice to have. I thought it would be suited for this event and its parent album is just over 25 years old, so it was finished sooner rather than later ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />. Keys include some of the guitar noises for padding out.Enjoy!SONG COUNT: 77Talking HeadsNext up is TheSheepQueen with some varied singles featuring a Moog pioneer, a screenplay and a 1984 song with a lot of echoes.December 6, 2019 at 4:07 am #508140

December 6, 2019 at 12:00 pm #508144Hello, hello, helloooo!
Here I am back with my third release, a pack of singles, no particular theme, anything goes. I got 3 songs and before we get started be sure to watch the trailer HERE! (I spend time on these so if you watched it, props to you)
So let’s get started shall we?
Jean-Jacques Perrey was a french composer who pioneered the use of Moog synthesizers. His tracks were considered as part of the very first electronic music waves, and this is his biggest hit. Supposedly, this song was a huge inspiration for the theme song of Futurama, along with Psyché Rock by Pierre Henry, another french electronic pioneer!
This band was one of the first on my “Discoveries and Curiosities” playlist on Spotify, where I keep track of all the obscure (in France at least) stuff I find. I heard this one on a 1984 Blockbuster reel, the odds sometimes.
I wanted to author this song first because it’s a bop an second in memory of a loved close one I lost this year, who was on life support for months, and that the makers decided to drop after poorly feeding him, leaving Harmonix in charge. That’s right, we still love you DropMix ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />.
All of the above authored by yours truly, TheSheepQueen

I wanted to do something big to celebrate, so my next release will be a single song, but oh boy, what a song.Next up are Yaniv297, FujiSkunk and drummerockband who are bringing a classic from this funk band. This funk band? I thought there were 64 of them!December 6, 2019 at 6:43 pm #508146Oooh Commodores ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
December 6, 2019 at 8:01 pm #508150So, hey again!
And this time a super-team of dedicated charters – FujiSkunk, drummerockband and myself – have teamed up to bring you an absolute all-time classic that was somehow missing from our DB. We’re proud to present:
This all time classic R&B ballad is now available in all it’s glory! So Lionel Richie was taken aback by the initial resistance of pop radio to the Commodores single, “Just to Be Close to You.” He decided to write a song that would be a hit on the R&B, pop, adult contemporary, and country charts. Co-produced by arranger James Anthony Carmichael and the Commodores, “Easy” went to number one R&B and number four pop in the summer of 1977. The song became an all-time classic and one of Lionel Ritchie’s signature tunes. We hope you enjoy singing and playing along!Preview video right here:Just be advised that a few problems in the video were fixed in the finished custom – most notably the ending on vocals (we changed the alternate ending but at that time I didn’t update the vocals yet…). On the custom itself it’s fixed, along with other minor issues.SONG COUNT: 81Next up: drummerockband, who helped on this custom, will bring you 4 songs from a great synth-pop band!December 6, 2019 at 8:11 pm #508151I hope that charting this song was easy, easy like a Sunday morning
December 6, 2019 at 8:21 pm #508152I hope that charting this song was easy, easy like a Sunday morning
Actually charting Lionel Richie vocals ain’t so easy, but I hope it came out well ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

December 7, 2019 at 3:59 am #508164Hiya, I’m back with more awesome tunes for your Rock Band enjoyment. This time, from that cool trio in Glasgow, Scotland, CHVRCHES!CHVRCHES – “Get Out” Authored by drummerockbandHere’s their first single from their third outing Love is Dead, it’s “Get Out”! I’ve always wanted to author more CHVRCHES at some point, and I told myself that if I ever did, “Get Out” would be the first one. And lo and behold, here it is, AND with multitracks!CHVRCHES – “Miracle” Authored by drummerockband“But “Get Out” isn’t my favourite single from Love is Dead!” you say? Well then how about “Miracle”? This was another CHVRCHES song I felt needed to be given the Rock Band treatment.CHVRCHES – “Bury It” Authored by drummerockbandWhy yes, I do in fact like more than just songs from Love is Dead. So here’s an awesome track from Every Open Eye! I opted for the original version of this song, even though the remix with Hayley Williams of Paramore might be the more popular version. I just really like Lauren Mayberry’s vocals (and her face ), so I went with the album version.CHVRCHES – “The Mother We Share” Authored by drummerockband and BansheeflyerWell here it is, the granddaddy of CHVRCHES songs. I couldn’t wholeheartedly go through with a CHVRCHES pack without having this song in it. Especially for a cause as great as Chart-a-Thon (please donate!), as this song is long overdue for a Rock Band release! This release is a part of Chart-a-thon. If you download any of these songs, or if you enjoy our Chart-a-thon content, please consider making a donation at chartathon.com. 90 cents per download is the suggested donation, and all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.SONG COUNT: 85MrPrezident is up next, with a great track from a fantastic duo!December 7, 2019 at 4:16 am #508166VVoohoo!
