Hi there,
is there an easy way to just raise or even change the song volume of an existing rb3con file?
I tried it with the C3 CON tools but it looks like there is nothing in that bundle…
What, you were hoping for a “Volume Adjuster” button on the front page of C3 CON Tools?
Volume is controlled by the vols line in the songs.dta. Use Quick DTA Editor to open the file, edit that, and try again. The values can only go up to 0.0, which is unaffected original audio. Anything less lowers the volume.
But I don’t recommend it. If it’s a multitrack file you’ll affect the mix and may cause clipping. If it’s a single mp3 custom and it’s too loud, you can adjust it by changing the vols but that won’t affect any clipping that may be present in the source audio file. If the volume is too low, you won’t get much out of editing the songs.dta.

OK, thanks for quick reply! I try it with a custom one.
