August 21, 2014 at 8:37 pm #427554Are you a real person?
Yes. Yes I am DR.
August 21, 2014 at 8:51 pm #427558I’m going to be quite frank:
The fact that you are including actual people on a small forum of any kind in your fanfiction scares me a bit. That is amplified with the fact that I am tied into it. If you like my stuff, fine enough, enjoy. But I find it a bit off putting when you decide to rope ACTUAL PEOPLE (who aren’t famous) into a fantasy universe without any sort of consent.

Hey! Chill! I never knew you would respond this way.
Oh , and by the way I am trying to mix the real world so that everything Sonic is in it so the fact that my fictional band can actually make sense due to them playing real songs.
Oh and a quote…
“Small time artists and bands know they have made it big when The Arctic Foxes have covered it.”
I apologize for any calamity I caused doing this. ( Really! ) ( Ok , I lol’ed at the picture you posted. )
That album does end with a 12 minute original song ( their first ) called “The Rock Band Convention”. It is about a guy going to a Rock Band convention in L.A. and one line goes…
“Gigs and Lyre”
and the rest of the album is nothing but Gigakoops and Nightmare Lyre songs so that is why it is called that title.
August 22, 2014 at 1:00 am #427587I hope the post above helps Gigs. At least no real names were used in that album name.
August 22, 2014 at 3:31 am #427602August 22, 2014 at 7:04 pm #427681Funny , that Spider-Man picture was also posted by Nightmare Lyra.
Anyways , the original purpose of that post was to quote each fact and tell me what you think about each one. Yet , no one has done that yet.
August 23, 2014 at 6:46 am #427732That may have something to do with the fact that there are very few thoughts one can have about such a list. Certainly the ones I have aren’t really fit to share without potentially upsetting someone.

People don’t work that way, dude. It’s actually not socially acceptable/expected to tell people your elaborate character backstory. The ONLY place that is really considered appropriate is when you are talking with a group of people with similar interests, ie, on a forum specifically-devoted to your…pursuits, like the many corners of the internet that cater to the anthro-minded individual.
And let’s be honest… Even if you ARE on a furry website, where it is considered socially acceptable to share facts like that, people aren’t REALLY interested. They are mostly waiting for their turn so that THEY can share THEIR elaborate backstory.
Anyway, this is an off-topic thread, so it isn’t as if you aren’t technically ALLOWED to talk about these things. But you need to realize that you are stringing together a bunch of concepts and interests that are specifically relevant only TO YOU. You may love Sonic and Megadeth and Otherkin and like Lyra and Gigakoops’ great music…but when you just lump a bunch of disparate things together in a personal narrative…it’s going to seem weird. Lots of people like those things individually, but that doesn’t mean they want to read someone’s personal word jumble.
And pay careful attention to how the people you mentioned reacted. They found it strange that you would include them, not flattered. That doesn’t mean no one ever would be flattered, but it is not generally something people expect.
You seem like a nice, eager person, who has some social/pragmatic challenges. I don’t mean to diagnose from behind a tablet screen, but I wonder if you wouldn’t benefit from being part of a social group. You might try googling “social thinking” and maybe watch the video “What is Social Thinking?” by Michelle Garcia Winner.

Right you are about my social problems. I should be a member of Sonic Fanon Wiki soon so if you want we can talk about it there. I actually thought they would be proud of me for including them , but I will always be a lonely bitch who nobody likes.
Personally , that is MY incarnation of me , so I included everything I liked as at least a detail.
August 25, 2014 at 10:09 pm #427901Ok , here are some hints for my customs ( if you have read some of my past posts you should know the answers )
-This song is secretly about American Dad ( It mentions Langley ).
-The original version of one of the Sweet covers from the early days of Rock Band.
-This song is probably well known for being in a well known ’60’s movie and part of the Wall-E soundtrack.
-If you played Shadow The Hedgehog , you might know the main theme had a remix.
-We got the Green Day cover as part of the movie week.
-If we got Rock You Like A Hurricane and No One Like You , this would be right up there.
-Gtafan would be proud of the Non-Live versions of what pack? Judas Priest 01 or British Steel?
–“My world is a harsh bleak place , where we live in eternal darkness.”
-Radio , Radio , What does he say?
-Earth , Wind , and Fire ain’t got nothin’ on this small time british band.
-A british pop band that strangely has no representation.
-M and M’s? Think again…
-If you lived in Mexico and hooked up the iTunes singles of the week , you would find this spanish song feat. JBalvin.
-Guitar Hero’s cover did not match up to the studio version of this song
-Anthrax!
Well , happy guessing!
August 25, 2014 at 10:19 pm #427902I have yet to see you release any customs, so if you’re already writing hints, I hope you deliver.
August 25, 2014 at 10:23 pm #427904I have yet to see you release any customs, so if you’re already writing hints, I hope you deliver.Well , they aren’t finished yet. They have no animations ( don’t have Python so I can’t use CAT ) and turns out I have to try and work on songs on a friends computer because I downloaded the wrong version of REAPER and can’t find the right one. Still , very little progress due to using MP3’s.
These hints are supposed to make you guess what I will deliver.
August 25, 2014 at 10:31 pm #427905You can look for the right version of Reaper yourself online. Just uninstall the wrong one and go to the “Old Versions” page, which I’ll link, to download the one you need.

August 25, 2014 at 10:44 pm #427907It’s funny how you think that will make a difference…just follow along with his posts.
“Can’t do CAT because I don’t have Python” – wouldn’t the normal response be to download Python?
“Have to do it at a friend’s computer because I downloaded the wrong REAPER” – wouldn’t the correct response be to download the right version then?
“What I will deliver” – if you haven’t yet delivered one, posting hints for a bunch of songs is nothing more than a waste of time…as the likelihood is not a single one will be completed.
But this is your off-topic thread I suppose…
