I used the album art for Go With the Flow, which turns out, is different compared to No One Knows. Looks like I’m going to have to fix both of those in my packs.

 

Millionaire should be fixed. Correct album art. And yes, it has overdrives on everything.

You know there’s already an audio version of Millionaire that has the DJ intro removed. It’s on the XXX movie soundtrack.

Not on my mp3 download of it. Remember, the entire album has a “listening on the radio” theme with station tuning, other dj talk, ect.

Yeah I suppose it’s possible that it changed on later printings of the album, but my CD definitely had all the “radio” stuff on the same tracks as the songs.

 

I have seen YTIAWADBIFLAM in truncated form, on like radio promo CDs and soundtracks like Livewire mentioned (often with the printed title shortened to “Millionaire”), but all things considered I don’t think it would have spared C16 much effort, since he already had to mess with the charts and stuff.

 

That being said, thanks again for the effort C16! I feel like I’ve been burned by less-than-satisfactory versions of that song more than any other custom, haha. Nice to finally have a party-ready version in my Rock Band library.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Venice Queen

 

Really proud of this one. Recorded my first dryvox for this (thanks troipoison!), so it has lip animations. I have a bunch of other songs I can now get to with this new skill.

This one is REALLY loud in-game. I have a pretty high quality receiver and it was distorting even at normal volume. Can you adjust the volume, or was this maybe compiled with the full mp3 in every instrument part?

 

Also I noticed that the official DLC used “By the Way” for the album title, with a lowercase “the.” Not a big deal, but I know you are concerned about consistencies like that. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

Courtesy of mrmet2087, his thread here. Worked with troipoison on this one. His thread can be found here. He did redid the overdrives on this, so you have to actually earn your gold stars on this one. I did reductions and gave it a better quality file for the album art.

However, I noticed some wrong lyrics in this song. In Verse 2A, in the 4th phrase, the lyrics say “it falls on me, it falls on me” but the real lyrics are “it brings me down, it brings me down” The other lyrics are fine.

Oh yeah, I remember people pointing that out to mrmet, but he was too lazy to edit it. I’ll fix that when I get my computer up and running again. I’ll also fix the album and volume for the Chili Peppers stuff and make a post about it once I’ve fixed it. And no, I didn’t use the same file as backing for every instrument. I guess I saved the volume too high when I initially worked on it.

I just tried hard pro drums on 505 by arctic monkeys and found the chart very difficult – I’m a hard standard drummer! I fired up expert and found it to be the same chart.
