Halloween is a celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. Halloween is also known as Allhalloween. It begins with the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain; that such festivals may have had pagan roots; and that Samhain itself was Christianized as Halloween by the early Church. Some believe, however, that Halloween began solely as a Christian holiday, separate from ancient festivals like Samhain.

American colonists are responsible for initially bringing Halloween to the United States. People would dress in costumes, read each other’s fortunes, and tell scary stories. These were amongst the first Halloween parties!

Trick or treating and wearing costumes were first done by the Druids to keep themselves safe from evil spirits?

Bobbing for Apples was done to obtain favor with the evil spirits. People would kneel around a tub of water filled with apples. The first person to get an apple without using their hands, would have good luck and favor from the spirits for the coming year.

Bonfires originally came from these nights of human and animal sacrifices where they would throw the remains of the bodies into the fire. The next morning all that was left were ashes and bones- thus the name bonefIres- bonfIres.

To summon Bill Cipher, one needs a picture of their intended victim. The eyes must be crossed out and the picture must be surrounded by eight candles in a circular formation. Then the following incantation must be recited: “Triangulum, entangulum. Meteforis dominus ventium. Meteforis venetisarium!” Your eyes will glow blue. The sky will turn grey as you enter the mindscape. You’ll say “backwards message” in reverse 5 times. Count Dracula one day finds a coconut on the ground and bites into it. He discovers that there are beautiful things in the world that have nothing to do with being evil or hurting people. He then gets his name legally changed from Count Dracula to Coconut Dracula. He is roommates with a Werewolf, Frankenstein, a Witch, and a Mummy. They are very confused about Dracula’s new lifestyle as he is helping with charities, wearing batman pajamas, and eating fresh veggies from his garden. The song is from the Mummy’s point of view as he is desiring to be filled with the same joy that has captured Dracula’s heart.

The song tells the story of the battle between “The Eagle” who brings the sun and “The Owl” who brings the night. It is told from The Eagle’s perspective and ends in his triumph. As for it’s placing in the “Horror” pack, the song references a demon in the first verse and it has a very metal, Halloween-like vibe to it.

From what I’ve read on the internet, this song is about the horrors of gang violence and how it could happen anywhere in the world. However I feel like, as with many songs, this song can be interpreted in many ways. As for it’s placement in the “Ghosts & Ghouls” pack, it references ghosts and souls in the chorus.

This song tells the story of being a party animal, likening the experience of getting pumped for a night out to that of turning into a werewolf. The title, “We’rewolf” means that “we” all adopt a more energetic, uninhibited, impulsive persona when participating in such a lifestyle.
