Ha, everyone thinking Electric Slide or Cha Cha Slide got played. Brilliantly done.

December 12th, 2PM EST-20:00 CET is Bansheeflyer. “This next single will slide into your Rock Band setlist.”

    Hmmmm… Electric or Cha Cha?

Yeah, my first intial thought was the same as yours… but then I kinda target fixated onto the ‘slide into’ in that sentence and thought maybe Whitesnake’s “Slide It In”. I brain-farted and wasn’t sure if I had it in game, so after a quick jump to the database for confirmation (thanks again Nun and Sy) went back to your Electric Slide hunch. For as much as I really dig Goo Goo Doll’s ‘Slide’, that release blindsided me. So yeah!! That was a big a hit by Bansh that winded my ass! lol <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

Angels & Airwaves – The War

    Cw8XfDx.jpg

After Tom DeLonge’s fallout with Blink-182, he set out to create a record with a stadium rock sound influenced by artists like Peter Gabriel, U2, The Police, and The Cure. The first two singles from the album, “The Adventure” and “It Hurts”, were both already released by Harmonix. The War was the final single to be released, and it packs heavy riffs with a grand chorus. Gameplay video courtesy of Fat Ha1p3rt:

Do you like this release? Awesome! If you would have downloaded this release even if it was paid DLC, please donate 90 cents per song to the Make-A-Wish foundation, we’ll be forever grateful!

    Song count so far: 195

The next author up at December 13th, 6AM EST-12:00 CET is Oddbrother. This ambiguous subgenre of a rock song brought the 80s electronic flair to the new millenium. It’s also one of the few times where the band didn’t use a bass.

Shiny Toy Guns – You Are the One

Shiny Toy Guns’ second single from the album would make headway in airplay for their synchronized retro-sounding synthesizers, placing in three music charts.

Moar Rush. I feel like that gets said a lot on these forums…. but for good reason. Love them or hate them, you have to admit that Rush customs are usually a HUGE amount of fun to play; especially for the drummers and bassists out there. This album, in my opinion, has some of the most fun drum charts with varied tom-work I’ve ever played.

This pack means a great deal to ejthedj and myself, and we’re happy to see it finally released in good standing. Three songs from this album were previously released through C3 (Two from myself and another from user Septekka), while the rest were “available” through a forum post by ej. However, there was a lot of improvements to be made for those Other Custom releases, and we’re bringing them to you all today.

Included in this release are the following:

    – 9 new customs released

    – 2 upgrades to my existing C3 Released customs (BU2B and Clockwork Angels)

    – A Full Album Medley split into Pt.1 and Pt.2

Yes, you read that correct. Also included is a Full Album Medley version for this album. The Medley will take you through the ENTIRE Clockwork Angels album in order, with added voiceover story elements of Neil Peart reading from the novel and lyric prefaces’ that greatly help to set the mood and increase engagement. Think of the Quest Mode version of 2112 from Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for reference.

(BIG thanks to Septekka for allowing me to use his C3 Released ‘Headlong Flight’ in the medley!)

Clocking in at 1 Hour and 14 Minutes combined, it’s an experience that I suggest everyone try. Unfortunately, due to size restrictions with Rock Band 3 itself*, the project had to be split into two parts. Please note, as with any super-sized project, there may be issues (both visually and in-game).

    Favorites / Recommendations from us:

Drums = Clockwork Angels, Carnies, and The Wreckers

Guitar = Caravan, The Anarchist, and Halo Effect

Bass = BU2B, Carnies, and Seven Cities of Gold

Vocals = Halo Effect, The Wreckers, and The Garden

    Keys = The Garden

Overall = Clockwork Angels, The Wreckers, and The Garden
