Who would have thought a JRPG would have a speed metal boss theme? With Ian Gillan singing the lyrics, no less?
Thanks to MrPrezident for authoring the vocals!

December 3, 2017 at 2:38 pm #493033I know offering money for customs is frowned upon and not allowed. But with this awesome event I thought I would ask or request something. I have my running tab going for this great event. Shout out to LA guns songs and the hip pack. For years randomly I have sung she was always something special for the ballad of Jayne. So thank you nunchuk and the president for the hip and ahead by a century. The only other song I did randomly for 20 years was poison’s love on the rocks. So I am requesting love on the rocks by Poison. I amwilling to donate 5 bucks a song for any Collective Soul song or Kings of Leon song and 10 bucks a song for these ones

I love this site and all you authors. I will donate asap if someone messages me about doing a song. I am not a loser or being greedy here. So message me and we can get this total going higher. : ) Hopefully this is not frowned on. If it is please remove. Just trying to get more money raised as this is a great cause. I love everything about this. Giving kids their wish is awesome.

I hate to sound like a downer but this is not the place to request songs. The whole event is planned, and there are very little chances that the plannings will change, I am very sorry but this is very unlikely that the authors participating to the event will consider requests. But we still do appreciate a lot your motivation into giving money for the cause and we thank you very much for that!

wait, what? I assumed it was Nobuo singing, sounding like an asian Jack Black. Oh well glad I could help out on this one and can finally give it a go in the game. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Steely Dan Singleby Dash RiprockSteely Dan – Haitian DivorceYou can go to Vegas for a quickie marriage, but what do you do if you want a quickie divorce? In the early ’70s, Haiti made it easy, allowing foreigners to divorce with hardly any restriction; the big sell was that only one member of the married party had to be present and request it.
For Haiti, this was a tourism ploy, as travel agents would send Americans looking for a quick and easy divorce to the island, where they would often spend some time on a resort. In many cases, these divorces were requested so that the person could immediately get remarried – a service Haiti also provided. So it was not uncommon for a married man to show up in Haiti with his mistress, get a divorce, and marry the new girl all in the course of a weekend.Donald Fagan talked about the Haitian Divorce in a 1976 interview with Sounds. Said Fagen: “It’s a fierce and terrible ritual. I’ll tell you that. You wouldn’t want your sister to have a Haitian divorce, believe me. It was the quick divorce, without too much red tape. If you can say ‘incompatibility of character’ in french, you’re as good as gold. But we added a few elements to the ceremony itself.”In this song, it’s the woman who goes to Haiti for her divorce. She has some fun while she is there, and presumably hooks up with a local – their sex scene is implied in cinematic terms in the lines:Now we dolly backNow we fade to blackSteely Dan used a talkbox on this track, which is the same processor Black Sabbath used on “Iron Man” to create the robotic sounds. In “Haitian Divorce,” hired hand Dean Parks played the guitar, Walter Becker processed it though a talkbox to his specifications. The Royal Scam was released in May 1976. The album sold well in the U.S.A. though without the strength of a hit single. “Haitian Divorce” (Top 20) drove sales in the UK, becoming Steely Dan’s first major hit in that country.Song count so far: 112The next author up at December 3rd, 10PM EST-04:00 CET is GhostByob.December 3, 2017 at 8:22 pm #493044Well clearly this is not the scheduled song but it’s a pretty awesome tune nonetheless!

Thanks Dash, I was wondering when you were gonna do a new release on your thread….but you know what? It’s even better seeing it here for C3Thon! Thanks very much, bud!

Rapper’s Delight pack
by SamyazaThe Sugarhill Gang – Rapper’s Delight
Can’t really call it a “Rapper’s Delight” pack without Rapper’s Delight, can I? It may not have been the first rap song, but it was definitely the first commerically successful one. This is the album edit, not the more famous 15-minute version… which means we miss out on Wonder Mike’s hilarious verse about eating crappy food at a friend’s house, but also means we don’t have to hear about Big Bank Hank’s “super sperm”, so it’s kind of a wash.
Thanks to Rocker1999 for doing 5-lane and Pro Keys!
Geto Boys – Mind Playing Tricks on Me
Unfortunately, this year Halloween did not fall on a weekend.
A horrorcore and southern rap classic, this tale of paranoia and depression is arguably the Geto Boys’ best known song. Hope you enjoy the venue, I had a lot of fun making it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Dr. Dre – Nuthin’ But a “G” Thang
The song that arguably created G-Funk, and the song that introduced us to Snoop Dogg. Considered a hip-hop classic and an iconic 90s song by listeners and critics alike… and it lost the ’94 Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group to a Digable Planets song. Somehow.
“I don’t hate all police, and everybody knows that, it’s just a matter of certain ones that are police for the wrong reasons. I was talking to a friend of mine this morning, a young lady, and she wants to get into law enforcement. She said, ‘I know you don’t want to hear that,’ but I’m like ‘Well, it’s not that. I know you want to do the right thing, you want to help people, and that’s cool. But once you get in there, you’ll see all the corruption that’s inside that particular brotherhood of police. There’s somebody in there that gets high or, you know, somebody who’s in there that’s shot somebody, while you’re steadily putting people in jail. Then you’re going to be more of a criminal than anybody on the street.'”
– Ice-TIronic how Ice-T is best known for this song and for playing a cop on Law & Order: SVU, huh? Fun fact: this is the only song in this pack (and the only song I’ve authored, other than The Blarney Stone) to have a Big Rock Ending.
Band Hero’s mostly converted (outside the DS version, which I don’t think anyone’s started on yet)… only 5 songs from the home console versions aren’t playable in Rock Band in some way. Now it’s 4 ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Ah, middle school. The heyday of crappy ringtone rap one-hit wonders… like these guys, with their ode to candy and creeping on strippers. Perfect fit for Rock Band, right? At least it’ll be fun for parties. (I hope.)
Yeah, I only did this because it’s part of my DJR2RB3 (Def Jam: Rapstar to Rock Band 3) project he namedrops C3 at the end. (Okay, a different C3, but still.) At least it’s not something off Rebirth, right?
This song’s primarily a remix of Gucci Mane’s song “El Chapo”, with the second half of the lyrics taken from his and Young Scooter’s song “Faces”.
