April 3, 2015 at 6:32 pm #441999The best edit I ever made to official DLC was removing the terrible trill lanes from Skynyrd’s Tuesday’s Gone. Instantly became a super fun guitar chart that isn’t frustrating because of the dumb trill lanes system that was used poorly and too often early on.
Yeah, that sounds good.
Trill lanes are literally hitler

This alternate version for Taco’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz” was a personal project that I had done for myself on side of the C3 Release. The guitar in the first half of this project is actually a Computer Saw Wave effect, which is different from the background Synth that I charted to Keys. Due to this, I felt that playing guitar normally during these sections (especially just the simple main rhythm) felt somewhat awkward… but it was better than not having guitar for most of the song.
This version forces HO/POs on for most of the first half of the song, and more-so “mimics” a Keytar version of this song when there isn’t actual guitar. Thus, you can tap through most of the first half, which I somewhat like how that plays for this song. Personally, I did this myself for fun, but I’m happy to release this here if anyone would like this version as well!
August 28, 2015 at 5:29 pm #453835So the stems from this week’s release of Butterflies and Hurricanes are from the music video version of the song, which is significantly different in having a guitar part added and has a few other minor differences. I thought some people might prefer to have a version closer to the original album version of the song – i.e. without guitar. So, I made this alternate version.

They have separate song IDs and filenames so I think it’d work fine.
