March 3, 2014 at 2:06 pm #414996I really need to go through and make the script less sensitive to things that are out of place. The guy who developed it assumed everyone would be using the RBN template, that no one would import anything from GH or an external MIDI…bleh. The guy who developed it assumed everyone would be using the RBN template, that no one would import anything from GH or an external MIDI…bleh.I can give tips on the main offenders. CARV tends to fail for any kind of error, almost. March 4, 2014 at 3:01 pm #415064The worst part is that a lot of them are just debug lines. There have been one or two cases where only the debug-printing has broken it, and commenting that makes it work. March 30, 2014 at 2:23 pm #416618I wanted to get this and the CAT working finally, but I can’t get “ReaScript” to show up under preferences. I have Reaper 3.78, Python 2.7, and I’m on Vista. I have Reaper 3.78, Python 2.7, and I’m on Vista. You need Reaper 4.22. March 30, 2014 at 3:13 pm #416620Thanks. It works now. I guess it was time to upgrade. I’d been using 3.78 since the beginning because that’s what was in PKsage’s video, but I think I just might be familiar enough with it now to finally move on. Real eager to try out CAT. April 22, 2014 at 6:37 am #418520so i went & got reaper 4.22 for CARV & CAT because they seem to be very useful yet CAT doesn’t seem to work on the RPP i’m working on & CARV just does this when i try to use it…am i doing something wrong? April 23, 2014 at 10:25 pm #418678I get that error all the time, and I can’t remember what I usually do to fix it. Check/do the following things: – Make sure none of your vocals tracks are muted – Make sure you have phrase markers – Run “Remove invalid markers” in CAT (this one is most likely to fix it, I think) Worst case, if we can’t get it fixed, we can go in and comment out that debug line. April 24, 2014 at 4:56 pm #418747still getting the same error, should i just upload the RPP so it can be looked at? April 24, 2014 at 8:09 pm #418767Yeah, I’ll take a look at it. I’ll see if I can find time in the near future to scrap this piece of shit script (that I didn’t write!) and get the really important bits into CAT. December 10, 2014 at 7:45 pm #434159Using REAPER 4.22 and Python 2.7.6, getting this error whenever I try to open CARV. December 10, 2014 at 8:20 pm #434162You’re probably running it on a non-standard project, meaning a poject without the required tracks or with more tracks and with special chars in their name. December 10, 2014 at 8:29 pm #434167You’re probably running it on a non-standard project, meaning a poject without the required tracks or with more tracks and with special chars in their name. That’s weird, I’m pretty sure the project has all the right tracks in it. I couldn’t identify any problems in it, so I’ll just PM you the file. December 10, 2014 at 8:32 pm #434168That’s weird, I’m pretty sure the project has all the right tracks in it. I don’t even have CARV installed so I wouldn’t bother. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>March 5, 2015 at 3:50 am #439753 ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>March 5, 2015 at 3:50 am #439753It says script execution error: no such file ordirectory. what do I do?
