For this month: The fourth album from the Mustis666 Nightwish collection, 2000’s Wishmaster.

The title track is a C3 release. Everything else from the album is included here – drums and guitar only. Downloads are here:

For new customs, I have four guitar only songs, two by the Aristocrats, and two by Heart. If you don’t know the Aristocrats, check them out – they are a phenomenally talented trio of musicians, with one of the best guitar players in the world.

Magic Man is a FOF convert, written by Scootastic, with a few modifications from me.

Finally, I have attempted to author a few full band songs. Several of these (all with vocals) are still in progress, but I have three from Joe Satriani available. Fortunately for me, Satch doesn’t sing very often.

If I Could Fly has a guitar chart written, for FOF, by Puppetz, and Circles was charted by elx. I did the other instruments, and all of Memories.

I would really appreciate feedback on these full band attempts – these are my first attempts at drums, and I have no way to playtest the drum charts.

Great update! I’m really excited to check out Mr. Guthrie’s guitar parts in RB, and what could be better than FB Satch? :excited:

Hope you can play Louisville Stomp better than I can. It’s a real bitch. Late in the song, he repeats the first part, but at a ridiculously speeded up tempo. Charting it, I had to cut the tempo markers in half, to avoid Magma errors.

You weren’t joking. :aaaaa: Has to be one of the hardest guitar charts I’ve ever played. Thanks for the ass kicking haha.

Lots of new stuff this month, some full-band, the rest guitar only. First up, for guitar only, I bring you another band no one remembers – Vanilla Fudge. To quote from Steve Huey, on AllMusic.com,

Vanilla Fudge was one of the few American links between psychedelia and what would soon become heary metal. While the band did record original material, they were best known for their loud, heavy, slowed-down arrangements of contemporary pop songs, blowing them up to epic proportions and bathing them in a trippy, distorted haze.

This heavy instrumental down-tempo style is best illustrated by Eleanor Rigby, on of the three songs I charted.

The group still tours today, with three of their original members. I saw them live many years ago, in a fabulous concert. You may also have heard them on the TV show Mad Men – one of their songs closed the premier episode from the final season.

Next, another song from In the Woods, perhaps my favorite:

Finally, a classic by Yes, that needs no introduction:

                Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0FHnxeCnFIjNEphM1hoVVRqZEE&authuser=0

Since that song has only guitar, I suppose I could call it full band. The following really are full band:

                Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0FHnxeCnFIjYWFkb0tlZWxhYUE&authuser=0

When this was made, Beck was still with the Yardbirds, and considering adding some solo work. He got together with four other amazing musicians to record this – Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones from Zep, the Who’s Keith Moon, and studio session wiz Nicky Hopkins. All it needed was some Torvill and Dean to be really perfect.

Finally, last month I posted Circles, from Satriani’s Surfing with the Alien album. Two other tracks from that album were released by Harmonix. I decided to do the rest (though part of the guitar chart for Crushing Day is by Susaltd). Here they are, with Circles added in:

                All downloads are here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0FHnxeCnFIjZHdlRkt4UnUtNnM&authuser=0

                Finally, one Satriani bonus track:

                Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0FHnxeCnFIjc0d2U3IyMjhlWVk&authuser=0

This was charted by Susaltd on FOF from concert video, and is a blast to play. There is no album, or album photo, but I kept the Surfing picture. It is guitar only.
