September 13, 2016 at 4:38 am #474873Surf Rider is an excellent choice. Pulp Fiction has some iconic songs on that soundtrack.

Be sure to check out Misirlou, if you don’t already have it.
September 13, 2016 at 4:32 pm #474891Oh, this is all great. Many thanks!
September 14, 2016 at 8:56 am #474910I’m finding many more songs here on C3 that cater to my tastes than what has been available at Harmonix.
Thanks for including these great older songs.September 14, 2016 at 10:25 am #474913I’m finding many more songs here on C3 that cater to my tastes than what has been available at Harmonix.
I came over to C3, and took up charting, because I wanted to play songs like In the Court of the Crimson King. Then, one Friday, I found the entire album published by C3.
I’d have given up my plastic guitar years ago if it wasn’t for this site. I tried RB4, but went back to customs and RB3.
October 1, 2016 at 2:23 pm #475644For this month, we begin the big NIGHTWISH PROJECT
A bit of history: When I first started charting, I was lucky enough to stumble across the Mustis Nightwish Collection on Frets on Fire. More than five full albums, charted for guitar, by Mustis666, and drums, by Tadracing99. It took a year or so, but I converted them all to Rock Band, fixed up errors, and released them here.
None of these ever made it into the database, mostly through my own laziness, until recently, when the King of Conversions, Beard216 contacted me. He wanted to fix these up and release them. I was game, but figured we should make as many as we could into full band releases. So started the new project.
This is our first release, about half of the Angels Fall First album, three songs, plus the four part Lappi suite.
Again, all of this is joint work, with input from Beard216, from me, from the original charters Mustis666 and Tadracing99, and, in some cases, from other volunteers. Here, for instance, Nineteenforever did the vocals for Tutankhamen.
This is a major project, and it won’t be fast, but we will get out most or all of these songs, with full band customs whenever possible.
Enough background – here are the new customs:

November 4, 2016 at 11:18 am #477274A few drum fixes and updates for November, plus two more Bond themes.
Incense has a new drum chart done by AJFOne23.
Sideshow has come aboard for Bond themes, and made drum fixes to my previous releases:
New downloads are in the database.
Two new Bond customs for this month.
First up:
This is joint work with Sideshow and Mrmet2087. Indeed, Met did most of the work – we tweaked things up a bit.

Sideshow has posted a full RB video here:

We made two versions for this song. Bongos play a major part in the percussion, and Sideshow charted these as toms. I really like that, and it makes the song quite a lot of fun to play.
Purists, of course, will hate that. So he did a second version without bongos. If you prefer the more traditional drum chart, download the “other” file in the database.
November 4, 2016 at 12:49 pm #477276Why does the visualizer for Tomorrow Never Dies have a picture of Live and Let Die?
