Song still gets a lot of radio play around here (Albany, NY). I heard it again a few weeks ago, and couldn’t stop humming it. I figured someone must have charted it, but couldn’t find it anywhere, not even on FOF.

 

Anyway, who can resist a song that calls a woman “better than a white line”? True 70’s.

The only album I have is this 50 Years of James Bond Themes. Bassey is listed, on that, with three songs, Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, and Moonraker. Good songs, all.

 

Too bad if these were done before – I hate to redo someone else’s work. If you can find out who did them, let’s at least give some credit here.

I believe “For Your Eyes Only” is up for grabs. None of MrMet’s customs had Pro Keys if I remember correctly.

Speaking of Purple Rain…..as I’m doing one little thing this summer (I’m mostly following my pursuits in my majors….because I like doing it).

The one album that is being worked on right now is:

Prince and the Revolution – Purple Rain (full album)

 

I’d add a screenshot of some of the progress I’m doing, but currently I’ve tempo-mapped portions of all songs, started charting the hard parts (namely guitar solos…..Prince could be messy), placing most of the drum charts (which are repetitive for the most part), and putting some of the vocals.

 

EDIT: Nevermind. I’ll just wait until I see what is left after Nunchuck’s release.

Send Nunchuck a message. Lots of authors are on board for his Prince release. My guess – he’d love to have the full album done, and someone there would love your help.

 

I took three stabs at The Purple Rain, but gave up each time. It is really tough to chart. More power to you (and Nunchuck).
