Live versions would be Fabulous! (Storytellers ring any bells? ) He did some fantastic plays for that show, pls consider making these avail.
And I want to take the time out to give C3 a HUGE THANKS for making this avail!!! This is INCREDIBLY AWESOME, RB3 had sooo much life left to it when Harmonix pulled the plug on DLC, thx a million guys!!

I would also like to suggest “Rock the Cradle of Love”.
January 27, 2015 at 9:54 pm #437161I can’t believe there isn’t more demand for Billy Idol who has one of the guitar gods of the 80s in his band.
Even if they weren’t full band, some guitar only versions of a lot of the songs from Rebel Yell would be fantastic. Flesh for Fantasy, Eyes Without a Face, Blue Highway, (Do Not) Stand in the Shadows… that whole album is fantastic, and I’m honestly surprised to see it get overlooked most of the time.
Not to mention that he had other great tracks on his follow up releases after RY as well.
As far as Whiplash Smile, you’ve got Worlds Forgotten Boy, Soul Standing By, both have great guitar parts, and there are other songs on there that would be tons of fun to sing. Charmed Life is the first without Steve Stevens, and it shows, but it even has some good stuff. Pumping on Steel is pretty good, Loveless is good too, his versions of L.A. Woman and Cradle of Love are great too.
After that, he put out Cyberpunk, which was a misstep IMO, except for one really fantastic song, Shock to the System, which is a heavy guitar and synth driven rocker.
He was pretty quiet post Cyberpunk. I think the only stuff he did after Cyberpunk until VH1 Story Tellers was a single called ‘Speed’, which he reunited with Steve Stevens on, and a song he sang on Tony Iommi’s self titled album called Into the Night. From then on I don’t know too much, and I’m long winded here anyhow lol. I guess what I’m trying to say is Rock Band could definitely use more Idol.

February 15, 2015 at 11:08 pm #438456I would like to play Billy Idol too. My favorite song is “Hot In The City”, and I would really enjoy playing it on Rock Band 3.
