    Ok, so, I’m addressing all authors for whom beard216 did reductions… First of all, it’s amazing the level of commitment our community shows and beard216 is a brilliant example of this. However, if you are an author and release songs here and you won’t spend 15 minutes to do reductions for the whole song you’re releasing, you need to reconsider your process. It’s 15 minutes of almost automatic commands to make sure that everybody can enjoy your songs (I knew how much time it took obviously but I wanted him to tell you). CAT autoreductions should only be used as an aid to do proper reductions but since people will take any kind of reductions, I really ask all of you to just take those 15 minutes and release songs with all difficulties.

     

    We are working hard to create an environment for the post RB4 era of this community and with that in mind having one version of the songs, properly done, is really important. We value any submission and input so obviously we’re not gonna require any more work, but 15 minutes is so little to ask to contribute songs that are thoroughly enjoyable instead of expert only versions. Thanks in advance to all authors changing their ways and obviously to beard216 for taking over in the meantime. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

    Farottone, can you tell us how long it took you to create and perfect the CAT reductions module? I’m guessing it was a lot longer than the 15 minute investments you are asking from authors. And I assume you don’t play anything on “medium” yourself – the creation of CAT reductions was yet another time investment you made for the community with little to no benefit to yourself. Good leaders lead by example. :c00l:

     

    I also wanted to shout out to Nemo who has probably invested more time in programming to make author’s lives easier than anyone else here (please correct me if I’m wrong). You guys just give and give. Then there’s this ad-free website (pksage), the tutorials (all y’all), the help forums, Nemo’s file server – this all benefits us, the end-users/authors.

     

    Reductions now take 15 minutes compared to the hours it used to take. There is literally no excuse any more. Show your appreciation for everything that’s been done here to make your life easier – take 15 minutes (less if you don’t bother to proof CAT’s work) and make someone happy. Not all our friends/family can play on expert. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

    Bravo. Nor can everybody who’s recently discovered this amazing repository. Short sample size (just found this site last week), but I’ve rediscovered the joy of Rock Band by playing with my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter…who were *way* too little to know what was happening when RB3 first came out. I’ve dusted off the instruments and we’ve been playing the FF-appropriate customs the past couple of days each day when I get home from work, and it’s a blast. Thanks so much to all who’ve spent time making Easy/Medium/Hard levels available, and who have published less metal-ly and more pop-py songs. Keep up the great work.

     

    You guys rock.

    Lol maybe, but as you spoiled now you need to do it <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> I’ll be there for download them because I have like 3086 Customs that I compiled with old custom sheet, C3 database and topics, Keepitfishy and some that I get as prenium person eheh Btw if you need some custom that I might have in my custom folder just PM me or message me on skype <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> my username on Skype is The Aftermath as same as here and its the one with a guy earing an orange T Shirt buddy, <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
