Hey guys. Been a while. I always roll my eyes at the “wow time goes by so fast” cliché but I really can’t believe it’s been over half a year since I released anything. So this is mostly just to say that I’m still charting, just very slowly and to prove it I’m releasing two songs that are sorta known but also not really.

 

 

Off the same album as Mazzy Star’s hit “Fade Into You”, “Into Dust” twice hit the UK Singles chart despite never having been officially released as a single. The song was featured in film and television several times including Foxfire, House, and The O.C. and made an appearance in a trailer for Gears of War 3.

 

 

Though it sounds like a meme band found on YouTube it’s actually from the official Grand Theft Auto III soundtrack on the Head Radio station. The name is a parody of Kraftwerk. It’s a rather silly song but quite catchy and has a neat acoustic guitar chord progression.

 

I also am revamping all my current customs primarily for smaller file sizes and certain animation cues.

Here it is, part one of the Boston Project! It’s just one song for now but plenty more are on the way. “Let Me Take You Home Tonight” is the only song on the self-titled album not released by Harmonix leaving it incomplete…until now. I’d say it’s one of the most fun songs but honestly there’s not a single song on that album less than amazing. I had originally intended to release this a few days after the death of drummer Sib Hastian but that didn’t end up happening. Regardless I’d like to release this song in his honor.
