Hello everyone, as some of you may know, the Kawaii-Metal band Babymetal released their first album by the end of February and it’s becoming more and more popular, with their last video getting over 2 milion view in a week.
Some people on the forum is already working on some of their songs, and so am I, so I decided to make this topic to see if there’s more people charting their songs and if someone would like to help me out with the one I’m charting/planning to chart.

I think the only “important song” that I don’t know about anyone doing right now is Doki Doki Morning. If there’s really no one doing these ones, I’ll probably do them next.

If possible, I’ll try to gather all Babymetal songs on this topic (Or at least a link to a topic with a song) and post the one I’m working on. So if somebody would like to help charting something or give feedback on this “project” we can discuss here

Very good and diverse on guitars, with some crazy little parts on bass. Drums are finally done, they are insane, even on 1x Bass. This song is awesome *-*

RPP+MP3: Newest Version [03/10]
CON: Download
The drums have a lot of ghost notes and I’m not sure which one of them I should include.
Also not sure on if some vocal notes should be talkies, like Suzuka’s backing, so most of the ones I was in doubt I transformed in talkies.
The keys on this songs would be the synth in the begining and the strings during the calm parts. I’ll probably try charting them after finishing the remaining song.

RPP+MP3: Newest Version [03/09]
CON: 1x Drums | 2x Drums

This one needs vocals, but I believe the verses are all talkies, just the choruses and the reggae parts are actual notes. I’ll probably do Moa as the second harmonies, Yui as the third and the screams as the lead vocals, because that’s probably how it will be charted on the other songs (Su 1st, Moa 2nd and Yui 3rd). Or make Moa lead and Yui second to follow the RB pattern instead of the Babymetal-Custom-Pattern
The lyrics are pretty basic (Since it’s Moa and Yui wrote them) but I don’t know the words they shout after the “yon”s on the Reggae part. (The high pitched shout on the end of the verses is “Four!”)
The only part with keys is the chorus and they are only simple chords, however, I don’t play real keyboard and have no idea what the chords are/look like.

Very easy song, but this is so much fun. Vocals seems to be be very simple, and there are no real harmonies, just some background shouts.

Another short and easy song. Not as good as fun Chokotto Love to play, but it’s still an awesome song. I could chart the main Keys riff, but there are some background notes along the song that I can’t hear, so I’ll just wait or find someone who know how to properly chart keys

I was just thinking of this group as one who would be fun on rockband. I am not that amazing of a drummer , so a 2x pedal version would be way out of my skill level if it is expert only. Hopefully you can get around to making all difficulties, but I know some people dont like to do that. I look forward to your release either way.

Single pedal 4no Uta is up, fixed some missing talkies and changed a some phrases from Onedari Daisakusen harmonies. Didn’t play tested everything in all intruments, so if something is messed up please post here so I can fix it

I was able to play the 3 you posted, and as i originally thought, these are way out of my league. Sorry I can not give you feedback on the charts, but I am keeping them on my system in hopes that I get to a skill level that I can do them. Thanks for all your work so far!

Never really heard about this band until a friend played them at a party this past weekend. Tried out Onedari Daisakusen just now and it was pretty fun on drums. I dig the chart, just needs overdrive. I’ll have to try out the other two songs in the next couple days. Great material.

I’ve also recently got totally hooked on this band so I tried these out. I thought the guitar and bass tracks were really surprisingly smooth and comfortable to play. The synch felt instantly good despite the high tempos and there weren’t any overly chordy fingerings typical for metal charts. Good work.

Mathespio, you’re the man.Played all three songs to the extenuation(at least in guitar and bass and they’re just perfect)You’re working in more songs from Babymetal, right?Cannot wait! BTW,if you’re having any trouble with the romaji translation of the lyrics you should check this:http://du-metal.blogspot.com.es/2014/03/yon-no-uta.html Translation from a Japanese guy who also have the translation of every Babymetal song.Hope that helps,Thank you for this great songs and keep up the good work!

I’m doing Akatsuki right now. Charting vocals is just to stressful and time consuming for me, I spend more time doing vocals than the other 3 instruments together, so I’ll probably wait until I chart every song before doing anymore vocals. Doki Doki Morning and/or Catch me if you can are next on the list, but I’m charting much less than when I started, so it will take a while. If we eventually get all the songs (There as people doing some other song but without any idea for release date) there’s still Animation With You, White Love and Over The Future, I’m doing all this when I have some time to spare, but I hope someday we’ll have every Babymetal song charted haha

Akatsukiiiii :excited: You’re just make me the most happy man on earth because having every Babymetal song in Rock band is more than a dream come true for me (I’ve been quite obsessed with this band since the last couple of years)So Thank you for making my day!!  :excited:

Thanks so much for transcribing these songs. I’ve played Onedari, Gimme, and 4no Uta so many times already. I can’t wait for the rest of them. Thanks again!!

#424338

Any more progress on these?

#424733

Akatsuki drums are kind of driving me insane, so I’ll make a CON file for it with just Guitar+Bass, since I’ve finished them a really long time ago. I think i’ll be doing this for all songs, and go back adding drums after that, since thats what gives me the most problem, that way we can at least have every song playable on Guitar/Bass way faster.

After charting all of them I’ll either go back and chart drums or work on the “Legend D” pack (White Love, Over the Future and Kimi to Anime ga Mitai (Live))

If anyone wants to make some charts, Uki Uki Midnight and Babymetal Death are the last one I’ll chart, since I don’t like them very much and I’m not that familiar with them. Besides that, I believe IDZ, Iine and Megitsune are being work on, and after finishing Akatsuki I’ll go for Akumu no Rondo or Head Bangya.

Making a con with only guitar/bass would be something awesome to start with.(since I’m mostly a guitar/bass player LOL) BTW,You pretend to use the live “legend D” version of Kimi to Anime ga Mitai?I thought you’re gonna use the Babymetal x Kiba of Akiba split CD studio version instead(It has better audio quality,IMO)I also assume you’re not gonna make Tsubasa wo Kudasai because you didn’t mention it.(Anyway is a song mostly for keyboard/singers,and you said you’re focusing in guitar/bass/drums at the moment)I have to thank you once more for this incredible work,I’m still looking this thread on a daily basis because of my obsession .Don’t doubt to PM me if you need download links for the studio version of KTAGM,in case you need it.I’ll keep looking for updates on this thread,’till then…Put your kitsune up!!

I have the Studio version, but It’s a duet with Kiba of Akiba singer, and I don’t like him on that song (Even though really like the band). The “Legend D” version has only the girls singing, and the audio is from the Blu-Ray, so the quality is prety top.

I just can’t take the falsetto on the high-pitched part by the end of the song, the Kiba of Akiba guys just murdered their own song lol ( I may do a song by them someday).

I don’t like Tsubasa wo Kudasai at all, so I’m not touching that lol

I’ve had some trouble with sync when I was playtesting this song, since my calibration was messed up for some reason and I’m not sure how accurate was it, so I would like to have some feedback on that. The notes seemed to be a little early.
