I’ve been beating my head in for what feels like an entire day over this.
My issue is something that I’ve seen a couple of threads for, but none of the solutions found in those threads quite seem to help in my case. Basically, everything is in-sync in reaper and with the RBN preview window, but in-game the music is noticeably out of sync with the notes.
I think it must have something to do with me sloppily adding a measure at the start of the song in order to create enough time for the UI elements in game to play out and avoid magma errors, but I can’t figure out how to fix it now. The beat track appears to be correct, and I also made sure to render the audio after making all of my changes. However, you can see there’s a wonky couple of grid lines at measure 2, which most likely has something to do with it.
Also took a picture of the fucked up first 2 measures as seen through the beat track, but I don’t know how much that helps.
1. File > Project settings > Timebase… > Beats (position only)
2. Cursor at 2.1, on the tempo map extend the selection up to the last marker of the project
3. Right click > Select points in time selection
4. CTRL+X
5. Insert a 4/4 time signature marker at M1.1.00
5. Cursor at 2.1, CTRL+V
6. Reposition audio track if needed
Beautiful. Thanks a ton, Farottone.
