Hello
I would like to know if there are anime fans here.
Which is your favourite anime (1 or more) and favourite opening/endings and OST
My favourite Anime is Death Note and I love a lot of songs from animes, but my favourites are: The 2 OPs and EDs of Death Note, Let Me Hear (Parasyte Opening), Naruto and Bleach (I don’t like these animes, but I love their soundtracks)
PS: And Vocaloid fans?

Also a big fan of Death Note’s OPs and EDs, as well as Bleach’s D-Tecnolife by Uverworld
X Japan did the theme for the “X” movie, the also have some great j-rock tunes that would be awesome to have in RB
September 10, 2015 at 7:37 pm #454633I haven’t watched anything in a while, but Code Geass is hands down my favorite anime.
I think that the EDs for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Stardust Crusaders are amazing, and even available in Rock Band, officially, already! However, those are both western songs, so that’s cheating, probably.
The OPs for Mirai Nikki and Maria Holic are hands down two of my favorite pieces of music of all time, and I’d definitely be down to chart them. (in the case of MH’s, Hanaji, full band-ifying it)
September 10, 2015 at 8:58 pm #454640We need a full band version of your chart of Hanaji

Show also had one of the best overall OSTs – the OP isn’t even on my top ten for the show haha. I wanted to do a custom of this for a long time.
I don’t know if this one will ever be dethroned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw3fN3OPk3A
September 11, 2015 at 4:21 am #454661It’s been a while since I’ve latched onto any anime TV shows. My favorites are pretty much all from the ’90s and early ’00s. Tenchi Muyo TV, — or Tenchi Universe as it was called in the States — CardCaptor Sakura, Fruits Basket, Azumanga Daioh and Excel Saga are probably at the top of my list, with some honorable mentions going to Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Read or Die, and maybe Ranma 1/2, once I get around to actually watching more of it. My favorite opening theme, however, is
from Little Snow Fairy Sugar. The song is actually a Japanese cover of an old British power pop song by a group called
, but I was in love with the anime version long before I ever heard the original. I’m not sure I have a single favorite ending theme, though “A Little Prayer” from Fruits Basket is a good candidate.
Among movies, it took me a while to warm up to him, but I now count myself among Miyazaki’s fans. The first time I saw Spirited Away, I was bored. Princess Mononoke and Kiki’s Delivery Service didn’t do anything to improve matters. But when I watched Spirited Away a second time, I better appreciated the time Miyazaki takes developing his characters and establishing his settings. Now I love the movie, and one of these days I’ll get around to seeing all the Studio Ghibli movies. Also, as uneven and silly as it is, I like the original Project A-Ko, mostly because of the music. If I ever start charting anime songs for RB3,
will be my first and
will probably be my second. Perhaps the fact that Project A-Ko‘s music was done by an American team, Joey Carbone and Richie Zito, makes me a little less of a “true” anime fan, but I don’t care, I’ll still call Project A-Ko my favorite anime soundtrack overall.
September 11, 2015 at 8:36 am #454663I love the big ones, Naruto, One Piece, Cowboy Beebop, Fairytail, Attack on Titan. For more obscure or lesser known ones I like Gurren Lagann, Machine Doll, Deathnote, Sword art online and Soul Eater
September 11, 2015 at 1:20 pm #454672I use to be very into anime, it’s faded in recent years.
I really liked, Elfin Lied, Yu Yu Hakusho, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Excel Saga
If anyone wants to chart A CRUEL ANGEL’S THESIS, I would NOT oppose.
[Although not the original, this would be much better suited to rockband
