Wow. All I did was make a request, nowhere in my comment implied that I was complaining.
You do realize that HMX did this too, right? The name of the game is completeness. Don’t like a song’s sparse part on X instrument? Blame the band for only playing 5 notes on the song. Somehow, they thought those 5 notes on a keyboard were necessary for their song. Who are we to say otherwise?
This is not entirely true. “Rainbow in the Dark” is the only example I can think of, plus there were parts in “Beast and the Harlot” and “Bark at the Moon” which had such slim sections which could be on a keyboard stem but never became of it. This was mostly RBN that did this, where Harmonix didn’t do any charting. And regarding about those people who felt they were necessary in a song, I’m not them. Plus I highly doubted they had somebody who played these notes and stood around doing nothing in live performances.
If you feel that my comment was “me me me”, then I suggest building a poll on the issue. I’m sure there are people who also feel the same way about this.
There’s just no end to what people complain about. This one takes the cake though. Gave me a good laugh.
Terribly sorry you are offended by freedom of speech. It only goes to show you how unprofessional you people are.
April 4, 2014 at 5:27 pm #416986Suhweeet! I second everything Hetz said. No brainer, download all 12. Another big thanks to this weeks authors.

We’ve been doing this for a while. We know that “people” prefer a full chart than for the author to arbitrarily pick what is fun and what isn’t fun enough to chart. If you want incomplete charts, sorry C3 releases are not for you.

Because bitching for a feature that was added that you didn’t like in content that is provided to you for free was professional?
And just as a side note, “freedom of speech” does not exist on private property. We can absolutely decide what gets said and doesn’t get said on our forums. The freedom of expression granted by the United States Constitution (i.e. only applies in the US and countries with similar constitutions, don’t think it applies worldwide) is against governmental intrusion. Not the intrusion of private parties in private property. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 4, 2014 at 5:35 pm #416989Alright alright, everybody calm down now and grab a glass of water and cool off now.
Regarding charting minimal parts, the way I see it personally, if it’s audible in the full mix and is a important part of the song then it should be charted even if minimal, though in cases like that Wings song where you can barely hear the 4 sustains in the song I would say it’s okay to leave it be. Though all in all, it’s kind of up to each individual charter, and in the case of multitracks it would be a bit odd to leave it out as it’s possible to crank up the volume to make it audible.
All in all I think more people should learn to VoxKey stuff and also not get too defensive over stuff.
April 4, 2014 at 5:38 pm #416990Excellent! Now I can eliminate five more songs from my “to-do” list! And frankly, most of the rest of them SHOULD have been on my list.
Much thanks, as always! Great work!
April 4, 2014 at 5:41 pm #416991Thanks for these another great week.

Yes they are unprofessional – no one gets paid to produce these tracks, authors just spend hours of their free time to give these gifts to you. Maybe that’s why people get offended – your sheer ungratefulness.
April 4, 2014 at 5:58 pm #416993Excited to see so many GH converts this week. Slowly but surely we’ll get the entire GH library over to RB3. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
April 4, 2014 at 6:31 pm #417000Yay…several on there that I’ve wanted converted…great job guys. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

April 4, 2014 at 6:37 pm #417002Nobody is offended, no harm done, let’s not rain on the amazing parade clintilona and ws54 put on. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> And by the way, they really went above and beyond, clintilona even more so being the leading contributor for the pack, to deliver all songs by working around the clock to polish them and fix issues. This is what C3 is all about: going the extra mile to deliver quality content with thankful comments as fuel for the ride. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
April 4, 2014 at 7:18 pm #417008This was mostly RBN that did this, where Harmonix didn’t do any charting.Good point. I should go ask Polly for her opinion. I’m sure she would tell us “thank you, boys”.
#unprofessional
April 4, 2014 at 8:28 pm #417015I don’t think Vx meant any harm and I’m a sympathizer with that position, but HMX has said before ‘if the part is there we chart it.’ We’re not HMX but we stick fairly close to what they did.
April 4, 2014 at 9:22 pm #417019Great week. Always nice to see GH converts given the C3 treatment. Nice timing too. RIP GH DLC Store.
April 4, 2014 at 10:18 pm #417023So I already had Real World on my flash drive and I was trying to figure out how since this was the official C3 release of it and I found it over in TrojanNemo’s Older Customs thread: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=415
I assume this one is either that chart polished up or just a completely new convert that was started from scratch? If this was done from scratch, I guess it’s a little late to point that out but just figured I would ask.
April 4, 2014 at 10:25 pm #417024Cool! Totally getting Looks That Kill! ^^
Mötley Crüe owns, and Shout at the Devil is one of my favorite albums ever!
