Any fans of what they did after 1970?

Defineately, some solo material is just amazing! All things must pass for example, how cool isn’t that one? And more recently, Paul with Chaos and creation in the backyard for example. There are so many solo albums to enjoy!

all of them through 73, only Paul after that for the most part. George had some gems here and there and John was okay after his hiatus but that period of 70-73 was strong for all

George’s All Things Must Pass album is great; a legitimate classic. Paul and John made some good shit too, never cared for Ringo’s solo work though.

The only non-McCartney & Wings solo Beatle stuff I’ve heard is Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord”. While it’s got a catchy guitar line I cannot stand the lyrics so I just never really went out of my way to listen to the solo stuff.

For me it has mostly been McCartney’s solo/Wings stuff up until Tug Of War, and then that’s it. I’m interested in Harrison’s work but I have yet to listen to it.

I think all of George’s solo stuff is just tremendous. Paul’s is good too but George’s is by far the best.

Here’s 4 tracks from each man that I think are awesome:

    JOHN LENNON

    PAUL MCCARTNEY

    GEORGE HARISSON

    RINGO STARR

All Things Must Pass is one of my all time favorite albums (Beatles albums included)!

I guess this thread can be seen as a request for more solo Beatles stuff?

When it comes to Ringo, the ‘Blast From The Past’ compilation and the 1973 album Ringo is all i need.

    With George, I love 1970-1973 and 1987-1990.

With Paul, 1970-1982 is great. His latest album New is amazing.

And with John, 1970-1974 is my favorite period.

and tell me who am I without this groove, I’d just die….”

By far, my favorite solo Harrison! Thank you guys for even considering working it! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Loved McCartney’s Ram album, Lennon’s Double Fantasy, Harrison’s All Things Must Pass, and two singles from Ringo.
