These are some really specific questions they’re asking now. This is well beyond that other survey they had sent out. Interesting.
January 16, 2015 at 6:48 pm #436371I forwarded it to some of my friends that play at my house even though they have never owned it themselves. Told them to make sure they checked the boxes for existing DLC and instruments compatibility.

January 16, 2015 at 8:07 pm #436381I’ve never had to check so many boxes before.

January 16, 2015 at 9:29 pm #436394Excellent questions. I have all sorts of hopes.
January 16, 2015 at 10:42 pm #436403Sorry guys, I didn’t put DLC/Hardware compatibility as my top requests.
I’m still hoping for a full story mode in Rock Band (GDRB was the closest, but that’s limited to 1 band), so I put campaign mode as my top request. If DLC/Hardware compatibility does not make it, feel free to blame me ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
January 16, 2015 at 10:44 pm #436404I don’t like how they didn’t specifically mention Keys and instead have a “Pro Instruments” label, which I just realized after submitting probably includes Keys when I put that low on the priority list because I thought they only referred to ProTar. Uh oh.

Uh oh.Shit I did the same thing. Hope we didn’t just damn Keys ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

They were already damned. The amount of work needed (basically they are 3 instruments: 5-lane and pro keys, the latter counting as 2 for a number of reasons) would be justified if they were the number 1 preferred instrument. They are not, so sadly they will probably be left to people like us who don’t have tu put a price tag on the time we invest. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
January 17, 2015 at 1:33 am #436421Seems like a given now that a new game is in development. Even if it doesnt come out till 2016 thats cool because they revived DLC for the existing game to wet out appetite in the mean time.
January 17, 2015 at 3:54 pm #436458I just hope I don’t end up having to buy an XBone or PS4 just for rock band.
I’d do it, but I’d rather just stay on the 360 I have already!
January 17, 2015 at 6:39 pm #436473“You have already taken this survey.”

January 19, 2015 at 7:33 pm #436608In the FAQ of the recent DLC announcement, one of the questions was something like “Does this mean Rock Band 4 is coming?” and whenever they’ve been asked about it they would straight up admit that no game was in development, this time they used the words “At this time we have nothing to announce”. Not breaking news, but it’s very interesting the different word usage this time around.
