Well, after some snooping around boxes in the family’s old storage shed, I found something I thought I’d tossed out years ago. To my surprise, it even still works after all this time. My old cassette recorder. That wasn’t the biggest surprise though. It’s what I found inside of it that made me gasp. A tape, now 24 odd years old, still sitting in there from the last time I’d played it.

 

I knew it was a sign for me to knuckle down, read the literature, learn how to use Reaper, and use this as my stepping stone to begin work as a customs author.

 

I don’t want to spoil the surprise of what I found until it’s ready to be play-tested, which will likely take months of hard studying, mistakes, questions to the community, and general fumbling around. However, I will simply leave this quote as a hint to what I’m working on, “A hellish, nightmarish audio recording that is a sure sign that the End Times are nigh.” (If you do google that and find out what it is, I ask that you keep it to yourself for the time being.
