April 9, 2017 at 7:15 pm #483795So I take it the mods said this one was okay? Cuz Make Me Smile is official DLC but I dunno how the rules would cover this sort of thing

Welcome to Wonder Wednesday where you’ll see a new Stevie Wonder song for the next few months. Enjoy the wonder of Stevie. Wonderful write ups are courtesy of Funk Meister Freud.
5 LANE KEYS: MrBurpler
“Seems So Long” from ‘Music of My Mind’ is this weeks selection for Wonder Wednesdays. A whimsical ballad full of heart and soul, Mr. Wonder weaves a tale of love lost and the consequences of that painful experience. As time passes and love starts to find its way back into the heart, sometimes the emotional scars of the past inhibit trust in the process of falling in love again. Flexing his incomparable musical flair, Wonder reaches deep down and vocally delivers a powerful message of hope that if one can find and believe in trust, love will prevail. Stevie Wonder’s musical arrangement of this song further validates his ability as a bona fide composer. Starting at a gentle gait, the music provides an introspective landscape into the world of a heartbroken soul. Wonder then begins to build momentum with his rich, warm keys and clever use of other instruments (all played exclusively by him) which begins to feel rather elating. Ultimately, the whole piece matures into a crescendo that convincingly gives vibrancy and relevance to his lyrics. Earlier work such as this was merely a precursor to all the great ballads that he would eventually give us later in his career.April 14, 2017 at 9:48 pm #483955April 16, 2017 at 8:25 am #484003LATEST UPDATE 4/16 Chicago Chronicles Finale – Liberation
GUITAR: nsw1-6
5 LANE KEYS: Bansheeflyer
Chicago Chronicles concludes with “Liberation” from the debut album Chicago Transit Authority. At 14 minutes it is the longest song in the catalog. It’s a composition that provides a unique space for Terry Kath to create and share the awesome depth and breadth of his talent with the guitar. With his masterful ability to shift from aggressiveness and intensity to softness and sensuality, Terry shows the myriad of sounds he can coax from his guitar. From ethereal, delicate strumming to his supersonic shredding, we stand witness to his genius in this groundbreaking instrumental. So now after 115 songs I must bid the Chicago Chronicles farewell. It’s been a real testament to dedication and resolve. Again I would like to thank each and everybody who had a hand in getting to the finish line. Much love to you all. Peace!April 17, 2017 at 2:58 am #484020What a major accomplishment charting 115 full band songs for the same band. Other projects that come to mind is Weezer and Smashing Pumpkins. It takes some incredible motivation and dedication without real life situations stepping in the way to finish such a mammoth undertaking. I know I couldn’t do it even for some of my favorite bands. Round of applause to all that contributed.

And Deftones! …Eventually… Once 2 things happen… 1. I stop being lazy and 2. once I can pull myself away from Breath of the Wild.

Thank you man. It feels good to be done finally. On another project note I’ve decided to take a break on Stevie Wonder. Don’t worry he’ll be back.
