Hello everyone,

I’ve been looking at some files that come with RB and wanted to reverse engineer them. I have a few tools that you can use to learn how lipsync is put together, or how HMX charts their venues.

Currently, my tools include:

• Lipsync Converter – Convert from RB4 lipsync to be readable in RB2 or 3 (as well as the visualizer)
• Lipsync Visualizer – See which visemes (mouth movements) make up a .lipsync file
• Milo2Midi – A tool to grab all venue and crowd events from a milo file and add them to a midi. Think of this as a reverse Milo Mod

One note on the Milo2Midi. It seems that lighting and post-proc events are set to always blend. They do not need a second event to blend. So if you see a sole pp event, and you look up a video of the song and see it blend, that would be why.
