I’m trying to add bass to one of my guitar only songs. Magma has has no problem compiling it into a CON file. When I load it on to my Xbox, the song doesn’t have a bass part and parts of the audio are missing. The song file size is also smaller than the original guitar only one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Did you make sure “BASS” is checked in the “Audio” tab in Magma?
Yep. Its checked. I assigned it the mute track like the guitar.
is the Bass part set to “mute” when in Reaper? When tracks are muted in Reaper, they don’t export in the MIDI.
Make sure you don’t have this.
Nope not muted when I export the MIDI. The message after says it writes all the tracks to the MIDI.
If you have already compiled this song once with one instrument, you must give it a new song id with any track (instrument) you add. Xbox doesn’t know you added any tracks using the same id as before.
Tried that. Still not working. Could I send one of you the Reaper file and have you look at it?
Did you also change the file name? I’ve changed only the ID before and it didn’t work. You have to change both the ID and file name, just tag it with v2 or something.
Try clearing and rebuilding your cache.
Got it! Thanks.
Best option is to export with a new ID.
