Lollipop was a really fun song to sing, especially on harmonies. It would be cool to see more of that type of music.
50s stuff like “Sha-Boom” by The Crew Cuts (or The Chords), or “Earth Angel” by The Penguins, “Come & Go With Me” by The Del-Vikings & “Mr. Sandman”, also by The Chordettes would all be pretty fun to sing. Makes a pretty good pack too ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
& I’d like to see early 60s stuff like Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons too.
Something is in my queue that should make you happy.
Mr Sandman, so good…
I’ve earmarked a lot of tracks in this genre as things I’d like to do, but I never seem to push them to the top of my queue. Lots of potential there. If anyone would like to contribute stuff in this genre, let me know — I wouldn’t mind doing some collab work.

Make that two things.

Very awesome to hear ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
like Fallout 3-ish music would be like fun and different
I LOVED both FO:3 and FO:NV soundtracks.
The ink spots would be lovely. There were some country instrumental songs on New Vegas that would be a blast too. I’ll post videos when I get a chance.
Well, I have something doo-wop-ish in the works. I can tell you that much.
There is a lot from the 50’s that people would love in RB. “Johnny B. Goode” anyone?
Here are some others I have in mind:
“Dream Girl” – Stephen Bishop
“Shout” – Lloyd Williams (Otis Day and the Knights)
“Louie Louie” – The Kingsmen
“Tossin’ and Turnin'” – Bobby Lewis
“Wonderful World” – Sam Cooke
“Twistin’ the Night Away” – Sam Cooke
“Let’s Dance” – Chris Montez
“Who’s Sorry Now” – Connie Francis
“Hey Paula” – Paul and Paula
Basically anything ever done by Sam and Dave would be excellent. Lots of great party tune possibilities.
Oh yeah, one song from Sensei’s list is done. It’s gonna be pretty good at parties. I was really considering another 3/4 from the list, but they’re months away at best.
I would love some more 50s and 60s in game. Playing the Elvis song “Little Less Conversation” today made me excited for the prospect of more Elvis in the future.
I would also enjoy many other songs from that era that couldn’t be done as official DLC due to masters issues or just HMX thinking they wouldn’t sell enough.
I have one on my to do list from circa 1950 that I plan on getting to sometime in the next few months. I wouldn’t call it Doo-Wop though. More along the lines of Mr Sandman and Lollipop. But it requires 3-part harmony and I am still getting better at that.
One of my favourites from the 60s, The Bumps – please come down.
