Hey everybody,
I’m fairly new to the customs scene and just starting to get things rolling. As I was looking through the songs I want to put in my library I noticed there are a lot out there that have already been charted with double bass but don’t mention having the 2x Bass Version available. Specifically I would really like to see the Guitar Hero Metallica songs (Battery, please!!) with 2x Bass… but also a few others that are either already charted via Guitar Hero, or probably wouldn’t be too difficult;
Thrice – Deadbolt (or anything, really. Thrice is my all-time favorite band lol)
I See Stars (all RBN songs), pretty much anything off of the New Demons album.
Dream Theater would be nice..
I’m not sure if any of this is already available, and if it is my apologies but I promise I did spent over an hour looking around and didn’t find anything! If I’m mistaken or simply looking in the wrong places, please let me know!
After the disappointment of not being able to use my Roland Drums in Rock Band 4, I’m really hoping this can re-juvinate the series for me. I’ve been really missing Rock Band the past couple of years!
Thank you!

Yeah so the Legacy Database has all of Guitar Hero Metallica (or most of it!) but no Expert+ ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> that’s why I posted here in the first place lol.
October 31, 2015 at 12:30 pm #458530All our Dream Theater customs have 2x bass versions.
October 31, 2015 at 1:12 pm #458532I noticed that!! I’m excited to play them!

battery was also in rock band 2 so it’s never going to be in the database.
it’s extremely unlikely we’ll do 2x bass versions of those songs, maybe someone else already did them somewhere else for all i know. whatever the case, if you find the 2x bass pedal charts (maybe bluzer’s guitar hero stuff at fretsonfire has them) it should be really easy to edit the midi in reaper (just copypaste the pedal notes accordingly) and repackage the files.

I found a guy on youtube/scorehero that did some back in the day as RBAs, but it looks like he never released them (likely because they are “official” songs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />)
What you said about repackaging sounds fairly straight forward, so I might give that a shot if I find any FoF stuff that might work… I’m afraid of messing it up and/or wasting a bunch of time though since I’m a total noob at ALL of this haha. It’s really too bad that the GHtoRB3 project didn’t include any Expert+ charts. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
October 31, 2015 at 10:26 pm #458562I did find some charts in PNG format. Is there a way I could convert those easily to be compatible? Sorry for all the nooby questions.

That sounds like a picture of a chart.

Yeah that’s essentially what it is. I figured there wouldn’t be a way to convert it straight over, since that makes no logical sense to me on how that would work… but like I said I know next to nothing about any of this so I figured I’d ask. Currently trying to wrap my head around creating my own songs and getting very discouraged very quickly haha
You guys all do amazing work!
