I’ve spent just about the past 3 days doing nothing but watching Pksage’s tutorial to authoring and a few other videos, but I just can’t seem to understand what it is exactly that I’m supposed to be looking for. The audio “peaks” in the song I want to author are extremely hard to find because it’s almost nothing but peaks, and I’ve messed around with actually charting the notes for the guitar, but I’m not sure if it seems right. I just want to make sure that it’s properly tempo’d/bpm’d before I start working more on it and then have it be totally off. Any help you guys can offer would be super appreciated, as there’s a LOT of songs I would love to be able to play in Rock Band.
Loudness wars are awful, but you can turn on the metronome to help you make out the beats ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
Something that really helps me is to seperate the drums and add the drums as a track just as a guide while building the tempo map.
There are a few ways to do that, try
Separate it into 4 stems and then add the drums to your RPP as a new track and use that as your tempo map guide.
