Hey guys, great site. Love all the customs I have d/l so far.
I would like to ask a question. I have not played all the songs so far, but certain guitar parts on Back in the USSR seem to be off pitch. The really high guitar parts on Layla also seem to be off pitch.
I know that when a custom is created, you add a song wav file that we play along to. Can the authoring process create issues with certain parts of some songs?
And a quickie, is the custom song request forum still being looked as(I am years away from being able to do my own based on my first go round at even starting a project).
thanks again for all the hard work.
In theory, nothing should be affecting the original audio in the way you are talking about. In the case of Back to the USSR, I compiled that from audio stems. It doesn’t sound off pitch to me but I am not an expert on the subject matter. The audio is converted from the source material to an Ogg Vorbis file, which is pretty similar to MP3. Even if something would be affected by the audio conversion, it would definitely affect the entire audio, not just certain parts of certain instruments. If that makes sense.
