Strange questions regarding drums, & also how have yall been?

      1) Why does my rock band 2 cymbal register one strike or two strikes but then randomly doesnt register or when it does it will double hit?

      2) Why does my 2 cymbal sides keep falling, I have them tightened I even put tape (aluminum tape & scotch tape lol)

      3) How do I stop them (old & new cymbals) from being broken or falling apart so easily?

      4) How do I stop them from lowering in height during playtime? Them often will fall (which will startled the hell out of me).

      5) Do I need a separate accessory to play double bass? Because I tried to hook up a second bass pedal but nothing happened, it doesnt respond to it.

One of the main responses is that I hit them far to hard when in actuality I really dont, especially when I hit roll notes on cymbals & pads, pads are still also in great shape on the drums, just the cymbals are mostly the issue.

For the double hit thing, my sticks are really beat up.

            1. Are you allowing the drumstick to bounce off the pad? That helps prevent double hitting.

            2. Maybe don’t hit them so hard.

            3. Maybe don’t hit them so hard.

            4. Maybe don’t hit them so hard.

            5. You need a bass pedal which can support another pedal being attached to it in order to produce a double bass environment. Or with an e-kit, a double bass attachment for the kick pad.

If you find you are going to be playing the drums a lot I would recommend getting an e-kit. For a few hundred dollars you can get a decent e-kit and accessories to attach to your system. You’ll have a much sturdier drum set than the toy kit that comes with the game.

            Good luck!

For 5) if you are talking about the old stock drum kit with the stock kick pedal, then they used to make an accessory which was a splitter where you could attach a second identical stock kick. Both pedals would plug into that little box then the box would plug into the brain. I don’t know if you can still find those splitters or not.

I glanced over the second bass pedal port not working. That may mean the cymbal ports are malfunctioning as well. Try each cymbal ports individually using the good cymbal. The RB2 cymbals were very poorly made. Have you tried new batteries?

Thanks for the advice, I truly appreciate it. Im going to do that next time I play. I will also replace the batteries as well.
