A bunch more DT/LTE have alternating guitar/keys solos, which could also be described as dueling solos. (Really the Mahavishnu song is also in this category, though the solo markers extend through the gaps.)
I always wondered if that was even allowed. Is it even a solo at that point? But I didn’t know that much official DLC did it either.
In customs I’ve worked on, “Dark Pit” has a simultaneous solo on Bass and Keys and “Brinstar Depths” has a simultaneous solo on Guitar and Keys because they’re playing the same thing. But I was reluctant to do so. And on the latter, it’s barely audible.
