Hi fellahs
I’m going to see Alestorm in 2 weeks here in Auckland. Do I dress as a pirate?
Is an old man dressed as a pirate too embarrassing? Does anyone dress as a pirate at their gigs anyway?

About 5 years ago, they were here, but I was at a function I could NOT miss, so these are like bucket list!

Most people don’t dress up as pirates at their gigs, but I’ve seen a few whenever I saw them live so no need to worry!
I sort of figured that they didn’t dress as pirates since my post. I would have probably been closer to going as Smee instead of Henry Morgan, anyway…
I’m going with my wife and a mate – the mate is into Ska, so this will probably scare him shitless, and my wife absolutely hates ‘fked with an anchor’, so it promises to be a load of fun. For me, anyway!
