Build ended at 2:32 PM.I think I fixed that before, but I forget how I did it. Anyone gonna remind me for this error? Thanks!
BTW, this is for Lego Rock Band and not for the other Rock Band games. So if you’re seeing this, don’t tell me to use RB3-related stuff because Lego Rock Band doesn’t support RB3 Files, ever. No pro instruments, keys or harmonies in Rock Band 1, Lego Rock Band, and Rock Band 2. So anyone who doesn’t help with lower than Rock Band 3 customs, then DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST AT ALL. I really need help for sure.
January 24, 2019 at 1:10 pm #503108Cute how you think you can tell us who should and should not respond to your post. Adorable.
Why are you making a custom of an official song? You do know that is not allowed on here, right? Let me hear the explanation before I’m forced to delete your thread and/or temp ban you.
January 24, 2019 at 4:25 pm #503112Here’s the reason. Rock Band 3 doesn’t have automatic kick drums like Lego Rock Band does. I decided to not stick with drums on Rock Band 3 cause I can’t focus on the drum pads and kick drum notes at the same time. It’s too frustrating for me to do, not even on the lower difficulties either, since I don’t get 5 stars on a single song if that keeps happening. Plus, the guitar and bass has the trill lanes an strum lanes sometimes. When a lot of people try to FC a song on Rock Band 3 on guitar or bass, I saw a lot of people say they hated them so much. The vocals were fine, but the other instruments were not. Plus, you can play Lego Rock Band customs on Rock Band 2 or 3, but Rock Band 2 doesn’t have automatic kick drums either. Also the truth is, I played Lego Rock Band for over 2 years (I started playing it in 2016) and practiced that one more than Rock Band 3. Especially when there’s more Lego Rock Band videos in my channel rather than Rock Band 1 or 3. I even have a Lego Rock Band custom song video of “Livin’ On The Edge” (my version). I had an easier time playing any type of song in Lego Rock Band, but in Rock Band 3, I’ve had a hard time in that game playing any other song, no matter how difficult it is, I was getting tired of it. Even having ‘No Fail’ enabled on Rock Band 3 won’t work for me either. But I still use C3 Con Tools for any custom I try and I use Magma C3 only to test customs to see if there are any errors. I’m just being honest about this. I only saw someone with a Magma V1 problem asking on this site and someone did help with the person that asked that question. I understand that if you want me to take this post somewhere else, I’ll do so. If this is the only time if someone could help me with this, I promise I won’t ever ask any of these unavailable questions on this site again. Was that the explanation you wanted?
January 24, 2019 at 4:28 pm #503113There was a thread about that not even a week ago. Solution was simple: remove kicks from the chart.
All the tools we use are tailored for RB3, so I really don’t know what you’re expecting here…

You mean you can just edit the things you don’t like in any chart and recompile it for your own pleasure?
What is this sorcery

I have a chronic knee injury which makes using the kick drum extremely painful. I’ve spent a lot of time over the past week removing the kick notes from all the customs I have downloaded (approx. 1200).
I’d be happy to share these if that is any help? I’d have to get permission from each of the original authors though, perhaps they could be added as additional options on the original entries in the customs database?

You can indeed, doesn’t mean that I agree with it.
January 24, 2019 at 7:59 pm #503124I meant with only with one issue for Magma V1, for Lego Rock Band. The fail said “Couldn’t find ‘weights’ in array” of the file which might’ve been what cause Magma V1 to fail on Onyx (I use it for converting a song into a RB2 CON). This is the only issue I need a hand with. I got my previous one working in that game last time, but I forget how to do it again with fixing this issue. When I first played Rock Band 3, it was boring for me. I gave up playing that game. Any solution I can find to fix that issue in Magma V1, and I’ll make sure to write it down on my notes. Does that answer the question?
January 24, 2019 at 9:35 pm #503127Problem is you’re asking people who have spent years and years working with and figuring out the best practices for our modified version of Magma v2 for RB3, to help you with something that maybe 5 people in the entire world are doing and may be able to help you with. I’m not saying is possible, I’m saying most of us who would be able to help with troubleshooting issues, can only do so for RB3 and only with Magma C3. So you’re pretty much on your own to figure things out or dig documents from nearly a decade ago if you can still find them online from when people were hacking customs in RB1.
January 24, 2019 at 10:06 pm #503129Like Rock Band ScoreHero or a different website?
January 25, 2019 at 12:53 pm #503141Maybe. ScoreHero was around back in the day but they also were very strict. If you asked me in 2012 to send you links to the old guys who were hacking things together, maybe. But in 2019 I no longer have any of that unfortunately. You’re fighting an uphill battle for very little profit. I suppose you can do that, but it’ll take a lot of work on your part.
