Hello, I’m an old Rockband player. I’ve been around since Rockband 1. I love the customs!
I play Drums and Guitar on high level, and I’m only really interested in songs with difficulty 6.
I’ve tried hard to look through your database for ways to filter ONLY the Difficult songs, or ONLY double bass songs. Am I stupid or is this just impossible?
I’m not much social, and not really interested in going through every single post, reading everything. In order to acquire the songs I want, but is this the only way?The interface in your legacy database is great, sorting / filtering for your interest is easy. But the ”new” one is not!

I don’t think we have that filter. But I’m sure if you search for names of famous metal bands, you’ll find loads of difficult double bass songs.
Yes but this leaves out the unknown treasures, which can be even more fun to play than famous bands.
Yeah, but that filter doesn’t exist now. There are many other ways of unlocking hidden gems here. Maybe find an authors who chart songs you like, who seem to have a similar taste than you, and check out their other works that you’re not familiar with. The Halloween tour date we did a while ago had a lot of metal releases (part 1, part 2), maybe look around some author specific threads in the forum (AFJOne just did a metal month for example).
And that’s just on top of my head, there’s loads of stuff you can find around here, especially if you’re a metal fan as this genre is very well represented in rhythm games. Take a look around, I’m sure you can find more songs than you probably have time to play.

We have a new database that will be implemented that has a lot of added features for advanced filtering. I think 2x filtering is also a feature but difficulty certainly is. The database is currently being worked on and will be released TBA.
Thank you Yaniv for the suggestion, but as I said I’m not very social here. However I will have to do what I can to find the hidden gems!
Thank you also Bansheeflyer, looking forward to this implementation. Adding difficulty alone will be a great improvement to the filter. As there is not really many relevant ways to navigate the database besides alphabetical.
