What To Do After Tempo Mapping And Charting Whats The Next Step

    Hey Guys I Am Really Confused On what to do after tempo mapping my song and charting i really want my first custom do go smoothly when exporting it to a con and making it playable in rb3 with out any errors what do i have do to next and on forward to export in magma without any errors?please help

    Before you can compile, you must also do the BEAT track. It’s also a good idea to add some practice sections on the EVENTS track. Another thing you can do is add animation events and notes on the various instruments, but those are not required.

     

    A general piece of advice regarding instrument charts, excluding vocals, is quantizing your notes. Sometimes REAPER causes midi notes to be a tiny bit off, and that will cause many issues that Magma will complain about.

     

    If anything is still wrong, Magma will tell you about it. Don’t expect your first time building the final CON file will be without errors.

            Once it actually worked on first try, I was so shocked I ended up double-checking 5 times I used the right file.
