Well it depends on the song, if there is a fully fleshed out harmony part then one of my band mates will step up to one of the extra mic stands. If the harmonies are like you said just the chorus or just some refrains, then anyone else in the band – drums, strings or keys – can sing along to the chorus while they play their parts. But even when I’m just playing solo or with two players, I will always choose to play with harmonies, I mean why not, there’s no penalty for not singing them and occasionally you can pull off a double-awesome all by yourself.

Only issues I see with the vocals are the last words of many of the phrases, where the singer is obviously trailing off and down the scale, but you’ve got a long, static note, so the singer would be forced to sing very differently from what the audio actually contains. That being said, you should shorten those notes, but most all of the notes everywhere else as well. The best way to show you what I mean is to actually sing this song yourself on hard or expert and try to fill every tube completely. If you’re filling them completely, you’ll notice you aren’t having much fun or sounding very “accurate” compared to the actual vocalist. This link might help.
