You don’t. Not unless you write part of the program to do so. Just leave it as no part, or in the case of no pro keys, have the icon not show “PRO”.
You can override the difficulty shown easily by clicking on that instrument’s difficulty bubbles and selecting what you want it to show. But why are you trying to override what Visualizer shows? That’s the better question.

I think maybe he wants to show which instruments are not charted but are in the song.

Correct. I have not charted a keyboard part, but there is a keyboard part. I want to display it as “MISSING” instead of “NO PART”.
That’s not part of the program nor is it part of Rock Band itself. Either a part is charted or not … what’s the point of saying there is x instrument that isn’t charted?
That being said, you could modify the graphics easily by going into the res folder and changing what you want to change. Graphics are loaded at runtime so just make your own image that instead of No Part it said Missing or whatever you want … plenty of people on here have modified their copies of the program.

But then you run into the problem where if you actually have a NO PART, you couldn’t do MISSING. You could edit it afterwards, or just say when you post the visualizer that a part is missing. The user will get to see a part is missing on the DB download page anyway.
Well that’s the problem with what he wants to do. He can have two sets of graphics or two copies of the program for each use. Or he can modify it relatively easy with the source code. But it’s a lot of work for something that hasn’t been an issue since RB1 released.

If he really wanted to, he could replace the difficulty level he’s not using with no part. But that means he has to rename the files if he doesn’t use the same difficulty.
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
