I’m not 100% sure where to post this (sorry Mods if it’s in the wrong spot ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />) but I’m looking for some really fun drums songs. I prefer stuff that has drum solos and such. I tried searching drum solos and grabbed pretty much everything that came up there.
I’ll take any and all fun drum songs though. Just looking for some ideas ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I challenging one (I think) is Prison Sex by Tool. http://customscreators.com/index.php?/topic/11425-denvaktares-customs-122417-c3thon-christmas-bag-2-x-4-by-metallica-as-well-as-riddle-1/ Its not added to the database tho.
January 6, 2018 at 3:19 am #494037Spark is probably my favorite drum song ever, so I’ll never stop recommending that one. It’s in 9/8, the drums are highly complex and jazzy and it even has a drum solo. You can check out basically all of onyxite’s stuff for fun drums too: some other favorites of mine include Temple (Zelda 2), a chiptune-meets-jazz kind of fusion that changes up a lot throughout; A Crimson Rose and a Gin Tonic, which has a very unusual tom beat but once you get that down it’s a highly enjoyable jazz song; Sabotage, a high-energy, high-tempo self-proclaimed “death jazz” song; and Barracuda, a jazz cover of the Heart song recognisable from Guitar Hero 3.
Barracuda is however by a huge marigin the easiest song from the band, check out their covers of Smells Like Teen Spirit and Tom Sawyer for some insane-level drum tracks. Barbarian Barbie is another top difficulty song, if only for the drum solo, the rest of the song isn’t too bad.
If metal’s your thing, Japanese DragonForce style band Demetori has three tracks available so far. You’ll have to head over to KyleJCrb’s thread to pick up Suwa Foughten Field and Luna Dial, but Jehovah’s Yahveh is in the database. Just… remember to bring a spare foot for the latter, it has a lot of fast kicks. The Tempest and Skeksis are also among my favorite metal tracks to play.
If we go back to C3 era customs, Burn has a lot of sections that basically feel like extended drum fills that are really fun to play, and The Dance of Eternity is ridiculous with its time signatures even for Dream Theater, but nonetheless really fun to play once you get the hang of it.
Self promotion! Zen Zen Zense, from Kimi no Na wa, is a pop-punk song with really fun drums and a long drum solo. Triplets is a bit weird but really intense and fun: it features xylophone alt-charted to drums, and I’ve done my best to make it feel right to play without having to do crossovers. If you want even more of a challenge, Nani mo Nai Mori is pretty insane and also features two drum solos – which are well needed breaks after the tiring main beat of the song.
For another really technical and fast-paced song with a lot of kicks, check out Flim.
Pepe Silvia for the memes.

Thanks so much for the recommendations so far guys! Definitely will be checking each of these out!
January 6, 2018 at 3:38 am #494040If you don’t have them yet, get the Deftones songs. Septekka did the drums on them and holy shit they’re way more fun than I imagined when I started the Deftones Project

January 6, 2018 at 3:40 am #494041It doesn’t have a solo, but I would recommend It’s Only Another Parsec… by Rx Bandits. It’s a pretty tricky convert from Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Some of my favorite customs to play include Wanderlust by Nightwish, Ties That Bind by Alter Bridge, Ijime, Dame, Zettai by BABYMETAL, She’s Out Of Her Mind by blink-182, 96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY, Hocus Pocus (Live) by Focus, almost anything by Iron Maiden, 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson, Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja by lostprophets, Genghis Khan by Miike Snow, Assassin by Muse, almost anything by Primus, One Little Victory by Rush, (sic) and Surfacing by Slipknot, and almost anything by System of a Down.
Above all else, however, get songs that you like.

January 7, 2018 at 2:36 am #494055I see you’re a Bowie fan, pretty much the whole Earthling album, besides Looking for Satellites, Seven Years in Tibet, and I’m Afraid of Americans (it’s been done, but the album version doesn’t have that much of crazy drums either. That’s my favorite album from him!
