I’ve been downloading and playing customs on the 360 for a few years now and have recently ran into a strange issue. I just downloaded 30 or so songs (C3thon) and I could only get around 10 working. I load the customs onto a flash drive as normal using C3 Tools but when I load the flash drive into the 360 and start RB3 it goes though finding all downloads, it will find the customs on the flash drive then load them and upon completion it will crash RB3. I had to keep deleting songs from the flash drive one by one until I found a set that would load without crashing the game. If I go to the usb storage through the system settings on the xbox, it does not show any of the failing songs as corrupt.

Is there some kind of tool to check these customs for errors?

Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Can you tell us some of the problem songs? Then we can double check them.

I know for sure one of the songs was Wiz Khalifa, See You Again (the wife was not happy…) I would have to dig to tell you more specific titles. I was deleting them 5 at a time until it would finally load.

Can’t really offer much else in terms of help, but I’ve never had this issue with See You Again, or any of my other songs. If I were you, I would try deleting my song cache and recompiling it in-game. If that doesn’t work, make sure that the problem songs are the 360 versions, and not versions intended for other consoles. Also check to make sure you are not running Title Update 5.

Deleting the song cache worked for me! Thanks!
