So my college club is looking into purchasing a TD-4KP for use with RB3. Since it folds, it fits our needs very well. The stock RB3 cymbals are getting harder and harder to find and more expensive by the day and I can’t seem to keep a kit working fully for more than a week. We have GoodwoodMods and a supply of parts but our pedal double hits on occasion as well, I believe. It’s just a hi-hat switch pedal. Those aren’t particularly easy to find either.

There’s a dead link on reddit to a post on here regarding this kit and I can’t find it by searching on the forums. Hoping there’s someone here who remembers.

I need to know about lag on the kit – we play with seven players and I know that my old e-kit at home needs a different calibration than the other instruments. Of course, it’s an old module (Alesis D2 – 1991!) so I don’t know if this is an issue on newer kits.

      Thanks everyone!

The calibration is different with every hardware as far as I know. I have different calibration for the MPA and the 5 button guitar, however anything plugged into the MPA is the same calibration (ex, pro guitar, drum kit or keyboard, I use all 3). The difference in the lag is not your drum kit, it is the MPA..
