What are your favorite Netflix original shows?
Mine are:
1: Bojack Horseman (one of the greatest shows that I have ever seen, it’s stunning after the first several episodes)
2: F is for Family (this one is a close 2nd)
3: Trailer Park Boys (early seasons)
4: The Ranch
5: Stranger Things
I would rate movies, but I’ve only seen Okja, which was great.
August 20, 2017 at 5:58 am #489639I generally don’t hear great things about The Ranch but some people seem to like it fine. Honestly the only reason I’m interested in it is Sam Elliott but there’s plenty of other stuff I can watch if I want to see him.
I was watching Orange is the New Black for a bit but again the only reason I was really interested was Kate Mulgrew and I lost interest about mid-season 2. I can’t stand Piper or her actress haha. Right now I think the only Netflix Original I’m watching is House of Cards which is spectacular. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are an incredible and formidable duo. If we want to count the shows that Netflix has picked up then I can add Longmire and Black Mirror to the list. They’re also starting a Punisher series with Jon Bernthal reprising his role which I hope I’ll enjoy.
I hear Jessica Jones, Stranger Things, Narcos, The OA, and Sens8 are really good but I haven’t checked them out yet.

August 20, 2017 at 2:07 pm #489649Mine would have to be Seven Deadly Sins, I am enjoying that anime, it has a good plot if you ask me. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
August 20, 2017 at 4:42 pm #489656I love Peaky Blinders. Stranger Things is amazing. F Is for Family is fantastic. And The Ranch is pretty good (second season was the funniest imo)
If I include movies The Fundamentals of Caring was great. I loved that movie
August 20, 2017 at 6:52 pm #489665Daredevil season 1 was fantastic. House of Cards is also great, though I havent seen the newest season yet.
August 20, 2017 at 7:46 pm #489667Peaky Blinders also isn’t a Netflix Original but if we’re gonna count that I’ll add it to my favorites as well.
August 20, 2017 at 8:03 pm #489669Yeah but Netflix has exclusive US distribution rights so it kinda countsish

August 21, 2017 at 5:55 am #489683Sense8 (Probably my favorite. Must be open minded. It does have quite a few “Sceens” if you know what i mean… so not a kids viewing show LOL)
Stranger Things
The Ranch (i mean it does get cheesy at times but it’s definitely worth a watch)
Girl Boss isn’t horrible either.. has pretty cool music in it.
August 21, 2017 at 7:56 am #489684Big fan of BoJack and Seven Sins!! Still trying to get into OITNB but the episodes are too long for me to stay sitting there…
August 21, 2017 at 1:17 pm #489688I rarely see it mentioned but I really liked Lilyhammer and its tone. I also thought GLOW was better than I expected, and the second season of Master of None was pretty good too.
I’m a big fan of BoJack Horseman as well but F is for Family didn’t cut it for me (not really fond of Bill Burr’s humor and voice to be honest).
August 21, 2017 at 6:52 pm #489702Oh dang just realized after a quick google search that Girl Boss got canceled already after one season. I didn’t think it was horrendous.. i mean it was tolerable and a good watch for what it was. That stinks..
August 22, 2017 at 3:03 am #489713Ugh, so many. I just caught up with Orange is the New Black over the weekend. I binged seasons 4 and 5, and the latter was definitely unique and refreshing. No idea what the hell is going to be the situation in season 6…
Ozark is amazing and everybody should watch it. Jason Bateman is wonderful. It’s essentially the new Breaking Bad, but it has the potential to be better. Plus, the main star is Jason Bateman, who was in Arrested Development. Can’t wait for season 5, courtesy of Netflix!
House of Cards seasons 1 and 2 are the best. It sort of returns to form by season 5, but season 6 has the potential to be terrible… ugh.
Netflix’s acquisition of Black Mirror was a godsend. Can’t wait for more scary dystopian sci-fi.
BoJack Horseman is great and I very much look forward to the next season. I haven’t watched Flaked, yet, but it’s on my list because of Will Arnett.
I watched the first season of Master of None and liked it a lot, but I haven’t touched season 2 yet.
I also watched the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and while it was solid, I haven’t had any desire to watch season 2 yet…
Love is a good show if you want to see real relationship problems and awful humans. Plus, it’s got Gillian Jacobs (from Community).
Speaking of, GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) is very unique and heartfelt and silly and it has Allison Brie (from Community). But what sold me on it was Marc Maron, whose self-titled show (not podcast) and comedy specials I adore.
The Defenders is next on my list. I’ve watched all of the lead-up seasons, too. Jessica Jones is great, Daredevil’s first season is better than the second, Luke Cage is very good, and Iron Fist doesn’t deserve all the shit it gets. It’s ain’t great, but it sure ain’t awful.
August 22, 2017 at 4:44 am #489715Daredevil’s first season is better than the second.
Ahem, Season 2’s last half ruined the perfection that was the first half.
August 22, 2017 at 5:24 am #489716Damn I can’t wait for Punisher season 1 though
