Is it possible to emulate regular keys on dolphin? If you use a controller set as guitar it won’t work correctly with overlapping notes and I want my preview videos to have the correct chart preview since some of mine don’t have pro keys. There’s multiple options I have with actual hardware or possibly a code could be used to emulate correctly if it is possible. Or if by turning on the pro keys code causes the game to think its keys could work if it does.
If this is a question for the dolphin forums, a mod can close this and I will put it there.
August 11, 2017 at 1:09 am #489226You can use the gecko code for fake pro keys, set all your instruments, turn on All instruments mode and press B+A on the first controller (green+red on a guitar). Your controller will be recognized as a RB3 keyboard and you’ll be able to pick reg keys or pro keys.

Every wii instruments I tried using with this worked as fine as the real console (don’t even need to map the instrument; having it plugged will be enough). Can’t speak for him but I prefer doing preview videos on Rock Band instead of Phase Shift. I can record the venue on my Xbox and the gameplay on Dolphin with autoplay, and it shows unison phrases, drum fills, big rock endings, vocals, all of which don’t exist on Phase Shift.

I had a feeling that using the pro keys cheat would allow regular keys. But I wasn’t quite sure my PC is crap so I can’t play a song well.

I do have a wii pro adapter that I could use.

Yes phase shift doesn’t have vocals and all of that stuff and then the regular keys is a weird visual and pro drums is 7 lanes instead of 4.
So thank you guys for the help. I’ll let my preview video maker know so my charts can come out perfect.
Or if your still available would it be possible for you to make them? It’s very hard to get ahold of the person who does my videos and the last batch didn’t come out great.
