I’d like to start by saying I was really unsure of where to place this, as the official troubleshooting forums here seem more geared to actual C3 content. Also, the Phase Shift forums are more dead than a dead horse, so I figured it’d be more efficient to get a response here on a significantly more active forum.
Anyway, I’ve recently downloaded Phase Shift + about 50 or so C3 songs to go along with it. On the first go, the game launched, and I will say that I added in songs while the game was open (for why, probably convenience). It played fine then, but on a second go, the game spends hours at a time loading songs – in fact, it takes so long that I haven’t been able to sit through it to see if it goes anywhere. I have heard that the game has a thorough method of checking for songs – but I hear that it is nowhere near as long as it is for me. Is there any possible explanation for this?
You’re probably going to have to tinker with it and figure it out on your own. Not many people here play Phase Shift, so getting someone knowledgeable enough to fix issues will be difficult. Have you tried the FOF forums? Last I checked they had plenty of Phase Shift action.
This issue has been resolved – I simply uninstalled then reinstalled the game, and it works fine now.
