Hamilton – “Satisfied” WIP, peer review and help appreciated (CON file added)

So, I’ve been working on a custom of the song “Satisfied” fro the musical Hamilton. I’ve decided to share what I’ve got so far as a way to get some peer review and get some help filling in the gaps. The CON file doesn’t have the keys charts, since neither are done, but the .RPP file does.

Guitar: The guitar is pretty buried in the mix. Really asking to see if my chord selections are correct.
Bass: Seems good to me. Could probably check on the spots where there are two quick notes to see if I’m not confusing them for the kick drum.
Drums: A disco beat, this one. There’s this one fill near the end that’s mostly a guess, so I’d like to get feedback on what it actually is.
Vocals: Really like how this turned out. If anything could use checking, it’s the rap part in the middle to make sure everything that should be non-pitched is non-pitched.
Pro Keys: It’s mostly arpeggio, so it was pretty easy to figure out, though since there’s so much going on, that I couldn’t figure out how to fill the missing gaps.

Added the CON file, mosty to give people a better chance at playing it and and the MIDI the .RPP produces doesn’t work with Magma. You’ll still need to look through the .RPP to grade they keys. At least I should get better opinions on the rap part.
As the only other Hamilton mapper in the database, if would be nice if we used the same Album/Artist/Cover so it’s organized in game. I marked mine as “Lin-Manuel Miranda” and “Hamilton (Original Broadway Cast Recording)”, so if you could do the same in your CON when you go through Magma it would be better organized for those downloading both. Satisfied’s track number is 11.
I looked at your Pro Keys and Vocals parts, and they seem in good shape to me. In Vocals, “Stance” and “at your lev-” are pitched during the rap when they should be unpitched – everything else looked fine, and the harmonies were fun.
Pro Keys looked fine on the whole, but I noticed a couple small parts that seemed wrong to me. (I’ll be marking them by measure number so they are easy to find in the .RPP.)
21.1 and 22.1 – The B flat at these spots sounds like it should be high, not low, in the mp3.
Take this advice with a grain of salt. I can’t hear anything from 27 until the second E flat, but you still mapped notes. I also can’t hear anything from 34 to 37. Just because there is a gap doesn’t mean you have to fill it with something, and I’m not sure why the notes are there. (If you can hear notes there, more power to you, but I’ve listened and I just can’t. Playing notes that you can’t hear in game is not fun, and that’s the end goal of a map.)
At 52 you end your arpeggios, despite the fact that the notes go back up to a B flat before ending. I would add it in for consistency.
73.3 sounds like it should be a B flat octave, not a single note.
You may wish to move 91.3’s notes up so that you don’t need to shift ranges back and forth.
After the last note in the song, there’s another chord. You don’t have to map it, but it would be a bit strange to get to the end of the song and then not play on the last beat. (G, C, E flat, G might be a good chord to use, but I literally ripped that from a free piece of sheet music, so try and look into it yourself.)

It does. Here’s my responses.
1. I labeled the artist as such because you put in LMR as the artist. If I had beaten you to the punch, I would have listed the artist as “Hamilton” or “The Cast of Hamilton”, something along those lines. I guess we can use the Avicii/David Guetta/(to a lesser extent) Mark Ronson rule here where we just label the mastermind as the artist.

4. Listening to it again, I heard the first as higher, but not the second. I also changed this up at M149.
5. I’m listening through headphones, and I’m certain all the notes are there. Though, to be fair, I can only detect from the first E flat.
6. This is one of those gaps I was talking about filling. Mostly wanted to see what responses I’d get out of M53. Wondering why I even left M52 blank in the first place now.

8. I’m gonna leave this as is until I get all the gaps filled in. I plan on starting this thing in the G2-B3 range, and if it stays consistent, I predict I won’t need to shift ranges until well beyond this point.
9. This is another one of those gaps I was talking about needing filling. I like how it sounds there, though do you suggest I use a broken chord (like I got at M134) or a whole one?
I didn’t even think to put “The Original Cast of Hamilton” as the author, and that probably would have been a better idea, but I wouldn’t label it with the singer because a. it’s unorganized, and b. there are several singers in most of the songs. I personally like the way it is now because the name I connect with Hamilton is Lin, so it’s easy to find.
Also, forgot that B flat is lower than B. Hur hur. That’s what I get for writing things at one in the morning.
As for the last chord, there’s no real reason not to go for the full thing if it will fit on the range you already have. Lower G to upper G should fit on the G – B range you are going to be using for most of the song anyway, so if the full chord sounds good, I would go for the entire thing.

I was going to update my chart a little bit anyway, so I’ll change my artist to “The Original Broadway Cast of Hamilton” like it uses most places.
