Hello, I’m trying to make a drum beat to sound in Practice Mode when I slow down the Speed in Practice mode
I read over the rbn docs specifically here:
http://pksage.com/rb…up#EVENTS_Track
In the EVENTS track section it says:
The EVENTS track can also be used for special timekeeping notes during Practice Mode. The following MIDI notes in EVENTS will play sounds in Practice Mode alongside the isolated stem when slowed below 100% speed:
I tried doing that but when I tested it out in RB3 and reduced the speed I didn’t hear any kind of timekeeping beats.
I looked over my EVENTS track, compared it with the picture they listed, and I noticed in my version of Reaper 4.22, in the EVENTS track D0 is not (26), C#0 is not (25), and C0 is not (24). In my version of Reaper 4.22 its: D0 is (14), C#0 is (13), and C0 is (12)
i’ve tried to put the drum beats in D0, C#0, and C0 respectively and when i compiled it and test it out on RB3 in the practice mode, I don’t hear any drums when i reduce the speed below 100% either.
Has anybody ever tried to get this feature working or know what I might be doing wrong?
thanks a bunch in advance!
You should be authoring your notes on 24-26 respectively.
Upload the MIDI or Reaper Project file you’re working on.

the Reaper Project File is Called Bass and the MIDI is called Bass as well
you know whats weird is that Ive been working on this Reaper project on my laptop and it shows D0,C#0, and C0 as the wrong MIDI numbers BUT when I load the file on my desktop it shows it correctly on note numbers 24-26…..
But I still don’t hear any drum pattern on the practice mode in the game….
