The way Harmonix has handled alt charting for RB4 has me curious. Which songs from the pre-RB3 era have alt-charting on bass specifically? I know that typically if there wasn’t any guitar being played in a song, they would chart keys/brass/strings to guitar, but how about bass? For example, I know that “Good Riddance (Time of your Life)” by Green Day has violin/strings charted to bass. Can anyone think of some other songs that do something like this?

Wolfmother’s ‘Woman’ has hammond organ on bass, but the stems might just have been combined. Which is unfortunate, because it makes a decent pro keys update very much wasted effort.
I wouldn’t base Good Riddance as an example during RB3 era, since it was actually charted during RB2

Good Riddance is an example of pre-RB3 era, like I said.

“The End” by Pearl Jam.
the only other ones I know off the top of my head are Joker and the Thief, You Don’t Know What Love Is, and the Rodrigo y Gabriela RBN tracks

My mistake. I misread, sorry.
Fix You by Coldplay has organ charted on bass.
